What's the game-plan?

I feel like there’s only so much you can add to each campaign, so what happens next? When the content dries up, what is going to be added to keep the player-base?

either game modes, or new campaigns.

that’s the formula.

Bots.
More bots will be added

Adding new campaigns would just split the player-base and only keep the game popular only a bit longer, but after that I only see adding more campaigns would just kill the older ones. I understand its darkflow’s formula but I don’t see it working for much longer.

Spamming content, like it or not, has been keeping War Thunder alive since almost a decade.

When WWII pool will be saturated, the game will progressively shift towards more modern conflicts.

mr keofox disagrees.

i doubt that.

you have no idea how many more copy and paste can be filled in every campaign :joy:

or include new ones such as half tracks and stuff.

it just depend if they want to or not.

as you can see, doesn’t really matter if we think or not. devs just do what they think it’s best.

the other formula that i could potentially see ( and hope ), would be:

PVE matches will bring more people and basically increase the life span.

I’m not against PVE matches, except they will most likely be heavily castrated in XP gains to the point of being next to useless to unlock stuff.

Keofox can disagree all he wants, doesn’t change the reality.

i hope not.

maybe… increase difficulty, make players have less tickets lives ?

there are many possibilites, just don’t know what devs will do about it.
( they did planned pve though. back in july '21 )

lol, no doubts.

That’s the case with PVE modes in WT, tho.

well, as i said, depends.

PVE can be a large market as there aren’t many for ww2.

piss them off, and you won’t get their money for sure.

got a shot but it’s earlier to say :frowning:

player made maps/ mods will have no xp gain.

so pve judging by all the farming players did in the past will come as a play for fun, dont get xp in return.

Is true no one say the opposite even the dev have sayed this

KOREA

just because you sayed this,

here, take another beretta version.

( maybe drum mag? then… different bullets?, then acogs? holo sights? i’m telling you. that’s the cospiracy ).

true.

but they are the same from crossout.

crossout now days heavely relays on pve. so there’s hope :eyes:

Pfff.

Historical moon battle. We need more than a event from this, we need a full campaign!

what do you say? look that the mp40 may look exactly like mp38 but it weighs less and has a different color, so it is definitely another weapon

I think the problem lies in their wanting to fill 40 levels, they get to a certain point that inevitably they insert that filler level

wellll.

i’d take a rider squad bike any time rather than a frikin rifle with at grenade in a campaign where most of the tanks don’t even get penned from that shit that takes ages to reach :upside_down_face:

so… it’s not like you cannot reach 50 to 60 levels with actual though and mind in it with useful stuff.

but i suppose it’s a matter of opinions.

actually it would be too many 60 levels are equivalent to 3 months of play with a single faction playing it every day without premium (with the premium they are 2 months not better anyway) 40 levels are in my opinion an acceptable limit for the patience of a player 1 month and a half / 2 months without premium 2/3 weeks with premium playing every day
