Currently the rider class is quite niche, with the new update adding Jeeps as part of the apc squads instead it seems any potential rider 2 content would fit better into the new driver class instead.

However I’m not sure if this aim has already been fulfilled or if this is yet to come. Personally I’m quite disappointed that riders will only ever use motorcycles and motorcycles sidcars. Because they would of been the perfect place to put armoured cars and jeeps.
Tbh I don’t think rider have armored cars and jeep or not really matters. Since it will be a new squad so it will have nothing to do with the current rider squad that only uses motorcycle. So it won’t change the fact that the current rider squad is niche.
even if they did how would they implement a sidecar machine gun? Since the kettenkrad doesn’t have a sidecar or any mounted gun I would know of, wouldn’t just be a 3 man motorcycle half track hybrid? Unless it could fit more than 3 people I don’t see much benefit. (Don’t get me wrong tho I still think its cool in its own way)
genuinely how do you propose you fit 4 guys into a motor bike you just aint gonna there’s not the room for it jeeps also depends on size the japanese jeep is really cramped willies might have had room but its gun mount ruins that space we havent even got them yet so i feel like u should chill
Four dudes on a sidecar Motorcycle, possible? Yes, but for game purposes, no. However, there is no excuse for only having three in a Jeep. Trust me, I’ve owned two Jeep Wranglers and even with a machine gun, you can fit more then three. Although, with the machine gun I would probably keep that one at three and release one without that would hold 4 to 6. And about chill? I’m retired in the Philippines with a girlfriend 27 years younger? I am chilled.
willys is quite small still and with the mg post any extra guys are sitting is some sketchy spots a 4th guy on a bike really dosent help the squad much tho what would help is performance fixes and buildibles increased the wla is extremely fast but lacks traction getting stuck in shell holes ditches or small ruts the taz bikes for the ussr have really messed up gear boxes needing to be jumped or bumped off curbs before they leave first gear the german and jap bikes ride pretty well in all honesty
tho a tip for bike use they make fantastic rapid deployable sniper/at my go to is assault/rider sniper and at bike serves as its own ammo supply and nothings more fun than hitting a drive by on a tank with a rocket launcher
genuine answer slowly updating things as we go and offer feedback war thunders infantry hasn’t had the right appeal to kill enlisted its modern fps while enlisted is a ww2 sim cade style and has its ai squad uniqueness somehing war thunders modern infantry fails to grasp plus the overly limited movement and respawns system i cant see workin out itl end up like naval
Since the kettenkrad was used for laying radio wire and transporting high value troops like officers, why not make them carry specialist like mortars or flamethrowers? They were also used in medic roles so why not give them extra medics? (though highly doubt the kettenkrad will be added)
