About Steel Fortress event…best players could get some rewards, like medal for reaching place in Top or decoration to their name in player tabs and got listed in leaderboards.
The problem is only Top 25-50 players have actually chance to get rewarded with something and even then they must play daily and for hours to climb up in leaderboards and to keep up with others. But majority of players have very miniscule chance to earn something in event like this. Those who play maybe 1-2 hours a day have 0 chance to get rewarded with something, except participation medal. I played 4 days like crazy, reached 70th place and event ended. For me this all was pretty pointless in terms of rewards, expected at least to get some player name decoration for a grind 
It was good to see a lot of real players again in both teams on Berlin but otherwise than that no real benefits from this event for most players, except for Top minority who get 150+ kills in each match anyways.
Imo both events we had were only to gather data about new gamemodes for further ballancing.
There could be fun events like modern conflict and battles like where only planes or only tanks allowed just like war thunder and the no of vehicles increased from2 to 10
Indeed. And I hope they take all the data into consideration.
For me it just meant doing BP tasks in Berlin to finsih hte Soviets and get hte Germans up a bit more.
the rewards are pretty naff.
i’m only lv10-Ger at berlin,i got 857th place, by 16 matchs. Maybe i can get the rewards which i want, if i can get into 10%. (someone said he had seen the end of the queue is about 17000 participants)
During 16 matchs, i had become lv12-Ger at berlin.（winning probability 70%）

I paid a few gold to buy German lvl 3 (cost <20 IIRC) , and I think I’m at 10 or so now.

Yeah, you are 100% right. I also don’t like this idea of an event. Many Top players were playing both in daytime and nightime. I know it becouse I thought if I have low level in Berlin I have to compensate it with my hard work and I have played at night too. The fact that the rules were not presented is another minus as if I knew how does it work earlier, I think I could get a better score
when i played my first match i was 15k + so i played couple more to get to top 10% ended up to 1280 so by my clculations i needed place of 1500 t mininmum so i hope it works and will get the top 10%

For me it was all about fun and a nice change to have all real players to play with and against. Esepcially when both teams are try harders. Wasn’t even expecting to end up as top 100 as I had little time to play this event.

Being in the UK, the times for the event was kinda out of my reach with work
and being a family man.
0:00 - 04:00 and 14:00-18:00.
Last time I saw someone cvalled "Berlin_AxiOP (?) was #1, with 41 games at …100% win rate.…
I would presume that they are playing in a clan of some sort to get that.
Premaders/syncers - I was playing completely alone on the russian side on WE server, many times i was just surrounded by 4-5 teams of axis players as all the time there were quiters and whiners on my team. I had to do most of the time rocket science while the axis side was just happily farming bots and a few players that have left in the game. I lost one game due to a crash (about 50 points) - I managed to get quite high on the list, regarding terrible circumstances and not fair conditions. For the future it would be good to have the possibility to reconnect to the existing match (that cost me a nice place 
If i understood everything correctly - awarded will be only Top 1 to Top 25 players (in the leaderboard at the end of event). Let’s see how it goes. Yes, there were some awards with percentages but not sure if those are counted from total amount of all players, but let’s hope so, maybe we will get some nice decoration too in the end 
Or the guy named HansKaffee - i don’t know if he’s cheater or not (someone in Russian side of forum already complained 
)but i was playing with him on the same team. Guy literally got all frags in game, constantly pushed in the gray zone almost to enemy spawn, I didn’t really had left anything to do in that match, except, being a support player
Premade are so important for a guaranteed win - when i play with 1-2 other good players winrate for Eastern Europe server Berlin Axis skyrockets to 80-90%, not joking. No need even to use discord/mics, just a couple of decent players can carry game alone. But i bet many teams do premades, Soviets too.
How the meta devolved.
From bombing beaches 24/7, to charging squads into greyzone to get as many kills as possible.
Staying on point actually sucks now, barely any players get through those suicide squads.
