Once I had situation where my AI had 11 kils with MG34.
And the funniest thing was that it was 1 star AI, meanwhile 5 star AI also with MG34 killed only 1 enemy at the same time.

it was probably a strange alignment of the planets above your home that generated this, I see no other explanation
