He’s gotta point and I been thinking the same.
This pilot and the Tempest pilot can’t get:
-100% effect of head-swinging during sharp maneuvers (requires 14 yellow/mobility points)
+50% range of detection of enemy aircraft (requires 15 green/handling points)
These are the two best perks for fighter pilots in my opinion.

Fair point, even though I’m okay with the alternative (wider angle of detection).
Also fair point, but so far I don’t feel the need for it with the Tempest. It doesn’t turn tight enough that head swinging becomes unbearable otherwise.

Weird. I’ll pass this as a suggestion for the devs. IMHO, the pilot should at least have the access to all high end pilot perks.
