… you can change their appearance though.
but yeah, default appearance of all machinegun squads in berlin are paras.

I didn’t have a complete wardrobe to change, but I did rob the upgraded tops from my Pistoria Radio squad. So, one uniform upgrade order and maybe I can finish them, other then the pants.
Nearest I can tell every single theater battle map whatever they’re all in German clothes I went through and changed most of them but yeah it’s an Italian squad entirely equipped in German clothing
Not related to your appearance problem, but exit the game and enter again so the squad upgrades get fixed.
