Not really.
The BR3 FW is definitely one of the most underrated planes in the entire game. It’s extremely versatile.
It can easily wipe out both tanks and infantry. And it has insane firepower against other planes.

Not as if it’s completely useless in a dogfight… unlike other factions planes in its tier.
Ooo i forgot about this one… a handheld mortar launcher to compare to the RMN 50 and for god only knows why the Arisaka mortar despite germany having to deal with it since it was introduced… and on top of them nerfing rifle nades.
I and others have made topics on this subject
It’s OP if you have things like the Kugelblitz, Assault Engineers and MG13 drum squads…plus some MP41s…the TZ45 squads claps too…then the 15cm rolling howitzer, Panzer IVs and such…definitely stacked…but it’s not TT.
Based on what, lol? ![]()
You clearly have no idea what are you even talking about, as you probably didn’t even play the plane to some relevant extent.
True, that one is also fast enough to resupply fast.
It’s terrible turn capabilities.
and neither do you… it’s only redeeming qualities are its speed, arrangement of cannons and mgs which yes is extremely good when you get the jump in a plane… but to win in a turn fight you have to be fighting an idiot.
I run the A8 every time i play BR3 germany and am disappointed by its ability to combat enemy planes when they know you’re there… you could look at it as a trade off but p-51 doesn’t have that trade off.
I must be bad with FW rockets because I can never kill any tank with them
Meanwhile, with La-5, Mustang or Ki I slap bombs on tanks every match and they go boom
Well, I also very rarely get rocket kills by shooting tanks - but I still dont see rockets necessary at killing tanks. 250KG bombs are all you need to take out tanks, 500KG/1000lb is the same thing, just better at killing enemy tanks that try to move out of the blast zone.
Rockets shine against infantry, and quite frankly are way more important than any other aircraft weapon.
That’s why I’m saying German BR3 needs a BF 109 with bombs, similar to other nations ![]()
Does Germany have any fighter aircraft capable of carrying two 250-kilogram bombs?
At this point, I think the Soviet air tech tree is basically beyond saving.
It’s humiliating that planes which can only carry a pair of 100-kilogram bombs get dumped all the way at BR 5.
Many shortcomings/oversights/omissions, some of which are the following.
The German Tech Tree currently has no self-loading (semi-automatic) rifle with a telescopic sight at BR 3, something that both the Russian and USA tech tree do have. This is thus a serious shortcoming/oversight compared to the Russian and USA tech tree in Enlisted.
This can easily be fixed by using currently already existing assets in Enlisted, such as:
When that is fixed all German premium and event paratrooper crates should be altered to equip the German paratroopers with a Gewehr 41 Walther with ZF 40 / ZF 41 x1.5 telescopic sight from their paratrooper crates when they participate in a BR 3 match.
When that is fixed the current premium German squad that is equipped with the Gewehr 41 Walther with ZF 40 / ZF 41 x1.5 telescopic sight should be allowed to change its weapon to any other German sniper tech tree weapon, since this is the standard practice if a premium and/or event squad is equipped with a tech tree weapon.
When that is fixed the current premium German squad that is equipped with the Gewehr 41 Walther should be allowed to change its weapon to any other German engineer tech tree weapon, since this is the standard practice if a premium and/or event squad is equipped with a tech tree weapon.

and / or
The Gewehr 41 telescopic sight data is detailed in the following topic on this forum:
Additionally the current German SPW (Sd.Kfz. 251/1) in Enlisted needs to be fixed as follows.
1.) Remove the current almost instant overheating of the vehicle mounted MG 42.
2.) The vehicle mounted MG 42 should have a 250 round ammunition belt.
3.) Change the posture of the vehicle mounted MG 42 machine gunner to an authentic profile. Currently the vehicle mounted MG 42 gunner is presenting a perfect target which gets him killed on sight, every single time.
4.) Give this vehicle an ammunition box to let soldiers replenish their ammunition from it. (Note also add this to all other premium SPW/transports in Enlisted).
5.) Give this vehicle a medical box to let soldiers replenish their medical kits from it. (Note also add this to all other premium SPW/transports in Enlisted).
The vehicle MG gunner of the Sd.Kfz. 251/1 in Enlisted is currently simply standing upright as if he is blind firing, he does not actually aim via the sights and does not take cover behind the MG armour shield.
These images make that clear.
In reality the vehicle MG gunner was much lower in the vehicle and used the armour shield for cover and of course also used the sight of his MG. None of which the current vehicle MG 42 gunner does in Enlisted.
In reality the Sd.Kfz. 251/1 MG vehicle gunners took cover behind the gun shield, and used long ammunition belts as is clear from many wartime films and photos.
Some examples.
Additionally:
The MG gun shield is mounted on the current StuG III G premium vehicle in Enlisted, but the MG that should be mounted on it currently is absent. This means the crew has no means to fend off charging enemy infantry.
Solutions: Change the current premium StuG III G unit in Enlisted to allow the crew to use either the top mounted MG, or better yet add the co-axial machine gun that can be safely fired by the loader from inside the vehicle.
Even low quality websites such as Wikipedia supply information on this subject:
" From December 1942, a square machine gun shield for the loader was installed, allowing an MG 34 to be factory installed on a StuG for the first time. When stowed this shield folded back, partially overlapping the front half of the loader’s hatch cover. A curved protrusion welded to the backside of the shield pushed the shield forward as the front half of the loader’s hatch cover was opened and guided the hatch cover to naturally engage a latch point on the shield, thus supporting the shield in its deployed position without exposing the loader to hostile forward fire. F/8 models had machine gun shields retro-fitted from early 1943. The loader’s machine gun shield was later replaced by rotating machine gun mount that could be operated by the loader inside the vehicle sighting through a periscope. In April 1944, 27 of them were being field tested on the Eastern front. Favourable reports led to installation of these “remote” machine gun mounts from the summer of 1944.
From October 1943, G versions were fitted with the Topfblende pot mantlet (post-war these are often incorrectly called Saukopf “Pig’s head”) gun mantlet without a coaxial mount. This cast mantlet, which had a sloped and rounded shape, was more effective at deflecting shots than the original boxy Kastenblende mantlet that had armour varying in thickness from 45 mm to 50 mm. The lack of large castings meant that the trapezoid-shape boxy mantlet was also produced until the very end. Topfblende were fitted almost exclusively to Alkett-produced vehicles.
A coaxial machine gun was first added to boxy mantlets, from June 1944, and then to cast Topfblende, from October 1944, in the middle of “Topfblende” mantlet production. With the addition of this coaxial machine gun, all StuGs carried two MG 34 machine guns from autumn of 1944. Some previously completed StuGs with a boxy mantlet had a coaxial machine gun hole drilled to retrofit a coaxial machine gun; however, Topfblende produced from November 1943 to October 1944 without a machine gun opening could not be tampered with."

Additionally:
Add the Sturmpanzer IV to the BR 3 German tech tree.
Additionally:
Add the Sd.Kfz. 251/17 as a BR 3 transport/SPW unit to the German tech tree or alternatively as a premium/event unit. The Sd.Kfz. 251/17 is equipped with a dual purpose 2 cm auto cannon which should allow it to effectively engage both ground and air targets.
As an SPW/transport in Enlisted this Sd.Kfz, 251/17 vehicle should be able to carry both a player squad and allow other players to “spawn” on the vehicle as with other SPW/transport in Enlisted such as the Sd.Kfz. 251/9 currently can in Enlisted.
Additionally:
Change the current data from the MP 40 to make it a BR 3 weapon, for example by swapping the current MP 35/I data with those of the current MP 40. Alternatively the data from the MP 40 could be improved to have it perform on BR 3 levels. Alternatively up to five authentic production variants of the MP 40 could be added in Enlisted.
In real life the performance of the MP 40, such as the rate of fire etc. was - among other things - dependent on the type of ammunition used.
In the book “Die Maschinenpistolen MP38, 40, 40/1 und 41 (Waffen im Einsatz - Die PK-Foto-Serie, Band 2)” (MP38, 40, 40/1 and 41 Submachinegun (Propaganda Photo Series, Volume II)) by authors Guus de Vries, Bas J Martens and Torsten Verhülsdonk a total of 5 (five) production variants of the MP 40 are listed, along with the 14 (fourteen) types of ammunition used for this weapon by the German military in WW2.
Let me repeat that: these authors in their book describe, display and list FIVE production variants of the MP 40 along with FOURTEEN types of ammunition used for this weapon by the German military in WW2. These five MP 40 production variants are in addition to the MP 40/1, MP 38 and MP 38/L. Sound suppressors could be mounted on both the MP 38 and MP 40 production variants.
Currently in Enlisted we have one MP 38 BR2 variant, and three MP 40 BR 2 variants in the game, of which only one MP 40 is in the tech tree, the MP 40/1 is only used by a premium squad, and the MP 40 with a sound suppressor is only used by an event squad.
The MP 40/1 premium squad (Note that this premium squad still does not have an Engineer and AT gunner equipped with the MP 40/1, this oversight should be addressed by the Enlisted developers):
The MP 40 with sound suppressor event squad (Note that this event squad does have an Engineer and AT gunner equipped with the MP 40 with a sound suppressor, in other words the premium MP 40/1 squad is markedly inferior to this event squad, so compared to this event squad the premium squad is “pay to lose”):
Currently in Enlisted six variants of the Thompson machine pistol (submachine gun) have been introduced in the USA tech tree by altering the data of these Thompson machine pistol variants. Additionally several other variants of the Thompson machine pistol have been introduced in Enlisted through several premium/event squads at various BR levels. This allows players to use this weapon from BR 2 all the way up to BR 5. This could also be done for the MP 40 in Enlisted.
The six current Thompson machine pistol variants in the USA tech tree:
More on the subject of swapping the MP 35/I and MP 40 data has been posted in this topic:
Additionally:
The Luftfaust B currently has no “lead indicator” in Enlisted.
All anti-aircraft guns and even many vehicles have the Enlisted “lead indicator” showing them where to aim in order to hit enemy aircraft.
Some examples.
The German engineer deployed 2 cm Flak gun currently has a “lead indicator” in Enlisted.
The “Russian” M3A1 vehicle mounted MG currently has a “lead indicator” in Enlisted.
The German Sd.Kfz. 251/1 vehicle mounted MG currently has a “lead indicator” in Enlisted.
Additionally:
To be clear: this should not only be done for Germany in Enlisted but for ALL other factions/countries in Enlisted meaning Russia, USA and Japan.
Any premium and event squad in Enlisted without at least 1x Engineer and 1x AT Gunner is simply not worth buying, using or unlocking. It is most unwise from a sales point of view to have premium and event squads without at least 1x Engineer and 1x AT Gunner.
Currently in Enlisted the Engineer is the only soldier that can deploy rally points. Rally points are THE main item that allow a side to be competitive in a match. As such they are THE main soldier to have in any Enlisted squad. The developers need to allow players to deploy competitive and useful squads in Enlisted by giving them all at least 1x Engineer and 1x AT Gunner, with the exception of paratrooper, saboteur, guerilla, aircraft and vehicle units.
A BR 3 example: A currently not competitive BR 3 German Gewehr 41 Mauser 9-men premium squad without at least 1x Engineer and 1x AT Gunner.
Additionally:
To be clear: this should not only be done for Germany in Enlisted but for ALL other factions/countries in Enlisted meaning Russia, USA and Japan.
Additionally:
That players do not regularly and consistently protest against this unfair advantage and clear display of favouritism regarding Russian paratroopers in Enlisted over those of all other factions/countries is rather baffling.
To be clear: this should not only be done for Germany in Enlisted but for the paratrooper squads of ALL other factions/countries in Enlisted meaning Russia, USA and Japan.
Russian paratroopers currently can be equipped with BR 3 tech tree weapons, or any other BR level tech tree weapons that are currently available in Enlisted because the developers have given them the unique ability to equip any tech tree weapon (rifle, machine pistol, assault rifle etc.).
Russian paratrooper squads are all fully BR free, in this example at BR 3.
The paratroopers of all other factions/countries in Enlisted do not have this huge advantage, as a result of which there is not a single German BR 3 paratrooper squad.
German paratrooper squads are all BR locked at BR 1 and BR 5.
The Italian, Japanese, British and USA paratrooper squads in Enlisted also have the same disadvantage that the German paratrooper squads have: they cannot change their weapons to regular tech tree BR weapons, unlike all Russian paratrooper squads in Enlisted that can do so.
Italian paratrooper squad BR locked at BR 2.
Japanese paratrooper squads are all BR locked at BR 1, BR 2 and BR 4.
British paratrooper squads are all BR locked at BR 2 and BR 5.
USA paratrooper squads are all BR locked at BR 2, BR 3 and BR 5.
This ridiculous situation should finally be fixed in 2026 by allowing all paratrooper squads in Enlisted to equip tech tree weapons, like all the Russian paratroopers can do in Enlisted.
I could add more to this list, but I will leave it at this for now.
Enlisted is a game that has so much unused potential which is truly a pity.
