What new customization options were added for the Soviets and Allies?

I downloaded the test server and the first thing I did was check what the developers had added to the customization.

I tried the vehicles, and I really liked them. Unlike motorcycles, they don’t tip over and have much better stability and balance.

USA :

Several new upper-body clothing options with pouches for the drum-fed Thompson were added:

For the legs, pocketed trousers in three shades were added with M-1938 gaiters:

That’s all. Nothing new was added for the Ardennes, not even upper body clothing with different mag pouch.

USSR :

Several new tunic options with different pouches were added to the upper-body customization (PPSh-41 drum/box magazine, SVT, and Mosin):

The only new addition to the winter customization is dark quilted trousers to go with the dark telogreika:

Three new shades of riding breeches were added to match the tunics (brown, yellowish, and green):

But why add matching yellow and green shades of riding breeches when the existing ones could simply have been recolored?

Britain :

And this is where I was really surprised.

Nothing new was added to the British customization. As a Britophile, this was both confusing and disappointing, and I’m honestly quite dissatisfied with the developers.

I was really hoping for the Mk III helmet with netting and camouflage:

I also wanted the leather jerkin to be made a darker, so that it would stand out instead of blending in with the main uniform:

Different shades of field caps and side caps could have been added as well:

And there are plenty of other things that could have been added. In short, you really disappointed me

I hope you’ll fix this mess.

Bugs:

I only noticed one customization bug.

In the winter campaigns, there is no option to have bare hands without gloves for any nation:

This bug has been present since the previous major update, and apparently it still hasn’t been noticed.

Conclusion:

This is probably the worst customization update so far. I don’t know how things are for the Axis, but for the USSR and the Allies, there was nothing particularly interesting added. And Britain was practically forgotten.

Jeeps are ok but I predict they will be easily smoked on BRIII +

Kinda like the saboteur, nice and flashy, but wont hold up under pressure …

I don’t think so. For example, Soviet tankers in Berlin are missing the helmet variants with and without goggles.

And because the version without gloves was removed, Soviet pilots in Berlin are stuck wearing winter gloves.

I never got the Saboteur, never thought it was worth the effort. I probably won’t get the Jeeps either, even though I have been after them for a couple years to add them. However, I’m not interested in three man squads, so I’m passing on this one as well. Four man, yes, three man? Nah
