I couldn’t find the answer no matter how much I searched, so I’m asking here: What is this pouch for?
It’s just cosmetic, right?
If you mean in real life, then it was for rations or ammo or field medical supplies.
In game though, it’s just cosmetic.
I think this thing is for 20rounds SMG mags.
Yep, seems about the right dimensions for it, and the vertical dividing lines hint at the pouches being there to store several long and thin objects.
Generally speaking, that means it’s for pistol or SMG magazines. Best bet would indeed be to contain 20 round M38 magazines.
Tabacco and tea pouch
I’m sure I coule fit a couple of tin cans of loose tea in there…
For emergency field uses…
ammunition pouches for the Italian Breda 8mm machine gun
Italians only eat pizza and don’t drink British tea. ![]()
That just means they’re using them wrong…
I think thats a 20 round Beretta magazine pouch, but I cant really find an exact model like that one.
Its too small to hold machine gun clip and too big to hold stripper clips for rifles.
Who knows, maybe next time Italians will cook pasta with black tea. ![]()
If you look at the square magazine shape of the Italian Breda 8mm machine gun, you’ll know what kind of ammunition those three front pockets hold.
Okay, you’re right, the magazine for the Italian Breda 8mm machine gun is indeed twice the size of the ammunition pouch in the picture, but historical photos show that it should be the ammunition pouch for a 20-round short magazine of the Italian Beretta A38 submachine gun.
