So confused lately. Have had a lot of times where I throw an explosion pack like twenty feet at a tank. It blows up and does like zero damage to the tank, but I end up dying regardless of being like 20-30 feet away lmao.

Game i played today i threw 3 explosion packs at the same tank, 1 landed on top, 2 hit it and dropped to the ground directly beside it before exploding. None of them killed it, pretty sure i didn’t even disable the tracks. I don’t remember the model of tank (I don’t know them all well enough by sight at this point), but i was BR1, so BR2 tank at best. So today at least, the range is 0 lol.

This is my confusion. They’ve been really really weird lately. I’ll even get a tank to directly roll over it, it blows up and is fine. Like I would say “skill issue” to myself if it wasn’t happening a good half of the time, so I don’t know if it’s maybe desync or what. Because yeah sure, maybe the tank moved and due to lag I saw it a few feet behind where it actually was, but if it’s sitting still and not moving, why is an explosion pack placed nicely on the engine/under the main body or track, just bouncing off like I threw a frag grenade at it?
Hell, I keep having TNT just blow up and not actually destroy the tank regardless of where I place it, I feel like they might have nerfed the pack and TNT or something because I swear I had a lot better luck with these two in the past. Usually getting close enough to place a TNT on the back on the engine was worth it because it was an easy way to disable it, but I’ve debated it at times because it just straight up doesn’t do anything sometimes lol
are you sure it wasnt a KV1 or KV2? this type of stuff mostly happens with that tank, its hell to take out even with Panzerfausts

I suck hard with tnt, so can’t speak to that.
As far as expacks, i got multiple kills playing today with no issue. Just 1 Weird tank that wouldn’t go.

weird, def weird, didnt knew any other tank with that bug apart from the KV… if you can find the exact model of tank and where you hit it with each explosive pack it would be nice, it mostly happens with the KV so i thought that…

I might look up the replay. Maybe my perspective is off, but like…the tank was standing still. And I’ve popped some tanks in my time. I feel like ONE of them should have blasted it. Mostly sour because we lost (no one on the *$&#$ point) with attackers having 15 tickets left or something, and i spent 45-60 seconds trying to pop this idiot tank.
The tnt grenade I think has like 20mm of penetration. Sometimes blowing up tanks from its side doesn’t work and I think it has to do with the tank moving ( even if you count to 5 before throwing it ) or the explosion not damaging the ammo rack enough for it to blow up.
If youre using the tnt charges placing them on the engine area wouldnt really blow it up unless it takes the crew with it because most of the time it just sets it on fire and cooks the crew but they do have more penetration compared to the throwable ( I think lol ) but if you pace it on the sides its better to place it near the ammo to make sure it sets it off unless its br5 tanks those are more tricky since they got more amor.
I dont know how you manage to blow yourself up with it lol maybe its the tank exploding doing the damage because it does spread fire around

Yeah I more mean straight like the weapon itself blows me up haha. The tank won’t even have a scratch on it and it’s primarily the throwable. TNT I somewhat expect as yeah of course it should have more power so standing close is risky, but dang there’s times I’ve ran away to give some good space and still managed to get damaged while the tank didn’t even start smoking.

Same thing happened today against t-60. explosive pack was literally on it and did 0 damage. I throwed second explosive pack same part and only then it blowed. either big luck or another bug arised
