Let’s say Stalingrad doesn’t flop. What will future monetization look like? Are they trying to build a paid playerbase? Are they trying to fix F2P? Is the whole PPSh thing a trick for it to not die? Will they straight up start introducing more and more paid content until campaigns are fully paid?
In short - are they going to kill one of this game’s unique features; being free to play?

the thing of the ppsh is bullshit all those who were the champions of the oppressed as soon as they saw that weapon again “free” they fell silent, the monetization is perfect puts together those who just want to play and not spend anything, giving them the most which is necessary to be competitive and win, and agrees those who want to support the game pay and have something more not necessarily superior to the f2p player, this monetization as well as all the gameplay changes available only in stalingrad should also arrive in the other campaigns for me

Could make a ghost town. Could make for good gameplay because paid players will play it. Could stretch the player base into a bot fest. Only time will tell and the only option we have is to wait and see. If it works I’d expect them to add other campaigns in the same style
While I like the style for people who are interested to buy in as the benefits are well worth it I can see possible player population issues but who knows, we will all find out

I think a much more important question is how much worse the remaining campaign will be. Not just in the first month (it’s evident that a new campaign is popular and is being played by most people). I don’t see what would justify a lot of new players, while with a fifth campaign we’re just going to pull the existing player base even further. While there are already problems. Especially the factions of some campaigns. But I may be wrong, someone says I just underestimate the abilities of the players and not even the bots, only most of them are really that bad players.

I think alot of people dont understand how many of us have bought multiple squads and CBT access for double the cost of what this Stalingrad thing costs but it has 10X the value.

Personally I’ve noticed a sharp drop in player quality. In CBT and even early OBT the matches were just so much better with cleary skilled opponents and a solid team but that seems to have fallen away. I really dont care for more campaigns because at this point I’m “chasing the dragon” for a good match which is getting fewer and fewer.

I am still of the opinion, whatever the monetization, a fifth campaign is far from early. There are many others that can be addressed. Two or at least one completely new faction would prefer a new campaign ( e.g. pacific ). A new Soviet-German campaign, no. Not now. Especially not with the Berlin campaign. I know the developers must have worked on it a lot, I don’t even want to offend them, but the armament is too similar to Moscow and the environment is like Berlin (even if the maps are beautiful). A campaign in Kursk where tank destroyers are given a bigger role or self-propelled guns / air defenses are included. But that is a third Soviet-German campaign. Some of the new mechanics, squad types, and weapons will also fit in Moscow. For example, normal mkbh or t-34. Although, I don’t know what will be added to the campaign. But now we’re just pulling the player base apart, not to mention a lot of crying.
And if DF wants to have money, (especially gaijin) then for 30 bucks I would rather sell a premium package in Moscow that has a KV-1 and a German assault squad with thropy ppsh. I think they would have paid the same for it. But I may be wrong.
Sometimes I wish they would sell it all full access to everything for like 50€
I notice so many people that aren’t able to play like intended, capturing points, objectives. No engineer too, etc. Almost like bots. Maybe this comes because it’s free and 10 year olds get on daddy’s computer and kill 10 bots for fun.
Spent hundreds of euros here and nobody cares what we want. Free to play players threaten us to play with bots instead. What the fuck.
