Huh? Did the restrictions get lifted? That sucks for you. I once fought my way to first place using German BR 2 vehicles against Soviet BR 3 opponents, and it absolutely wore me out.

An understatement. That is how I feel playing Germany 2 versus uptier every match. The fact this thread has so many other people seeing the same thing means there is a real problem. I do not know if it is specific to BR2 or BR2 Germany. I play Japan 5 its almost always a win and they are under powered compared to the USSR and US BR 5. Better players.
Sometimes depending on who I am playing with I am using USSR 3 versus 5 or Germany 2 versus BR 4 since the person I am playing with is BR3 Germany. I do alright. But then again I have played a long time and know most of the maps enough to be a real pest.
Oh no, of course not - the Soviets are sooo weak.
Pz.III N is totally equal to the KV-1, the Sturmpanzer is totally equal to the KV-2, everything’s fair. The MP 40 is stronger than the PPS-43, especially without a cuirass, and yeah, the German MG 13 is such an overpowered beast of an LMG. And the Fedorov Avtomat is equal to the Armaguerra, or even weaker - the Germans have one more bullet, after all!!

These are retarded players or K/D whores who park their bots outside of the cap, so giving almost zero contribution to defending or capping.

The Soviet faction is far from weak; in fact, it’s really consistent. I played as the US and German forces today. I got held back a lot by players at low battle ratings, and tanks were constantly being taken by others. There are also too few spawn points. A friend of mine was really frustrated with his teammates, but he finally relaxed once he switched back to the Soviet side.

I’ve been playing for hours today, yesterday, and the day before that. I still can’t figure out what’s wrong with German BR3, the same issues keep popping up.
I originally jumped into German BR3 to enjoy the game. Instead, these matches leave me mentally drained and give me headaches.
I main Germany because I own a bunch of premium squads perfect for silver farming. These squads come with unique weapons that offer lots of gameplay variety.
But my teammates are consistently unreliable.
Once on the Ardennes map, there was an abandoned spawn point near an extraction zone. None of my teammates noticed it. Enemy troops kept spawning there and flanking us from the rear, which directly caused our attack on the next objective to fail.
All things considered, US and Soviet BR3 still have the most consistent player quality.
Germany’s BR2 submachine guns are stuck with unavoidable trade-offs. While SMGs of other factions offer well-rounded performance, German options feel constrained in their stats and fall behind by comparison.
Every SMG on the tech tree either has decent sustained fire but lacks burst potential, or packs short-range punch with poor endurance. Their overall firepower leaves a lot to be desired. I wasted resources buying multiple German SMGs; they handle steadily, yet none deliver satisfying burst damage. They get easily outmatched by the Thompson and PPS series at the same battle rating.
To make matters worse, Germany still lacks new semi-automatic weapons for BR2. All these drawbacks combined make the bracket extremely tedious to play. The situation becomes even worse when getting uptiered against BR3 opponents.
