im kinda new/returning after a very long break and im trying to relearn this awful UI, when i go to some of the weapons like the M1 garand i notice it has an empty close on the gun in the top left of its picture. but when i click it nothing happens can anyone tell me whats thats about?
Any rifles you got before the introduction of bayonets do not have bayonets, those received after do have them.
You can remove bayonets from rifles by clicking that slot, then they become available to be added to another rifle.
Usually this is pointless - but some bayonets can be fitted to a couple of different types of rifle, so you can take them off default rifles and add them to better/upgraded ones that lack them.
