My friend and I have been playing Allies in Berlin for a week now, and even though we both knew Allies Berlin was going to be painful, we were still surprised by the disparity of battle experience.
We got 1st and 2nd in almost every game, but still only had a winning rate of about 20%.
According to a parrot, the Soviets dominated Germany with AS44s, Fedorovs and body armor, but that’s not what I experienced at all.
For comparison, when we play the German army, the battlefield is like an AI farm. When we play the defender, we can’t even find an enemy to kill, because the battle line will even push back to the enemy’s spawn! The experience is chill but boring, we can have 2 plane and a few sniper all the time and still got no trouble about winning.
Complaints related to tanks, not everyone may agree
Another problem on the Soviet is the T34 Spammer. Noobs will never miss any opportunity to hop on a T34 and be immediately destroyed by Panther, KT, and Jagdpanther (the number of high-quality squads in Berlin increases rapidly after half price), causing ticket waste .At the same time German noobs can still perform well on Panther and contribute to the team. The only thing you can do facing enemy tanks is use smoke and rush into the point, because hop on an IS-2 and try to fight back will reduce the amount of attacking infantry that are already not much,and have a negative impact on victory.
Here is my Statistics (Soviet win rate >50% is just because things weren’t that bad when I grinded soviet)
As445 is stronger compair to its counterparts indeed but you also have to look at other weapons. I’ll list my understanding here
fg422 is still a little stronger then avt40 after waves of nerfs
tigerII is much stronger then is2
german have better airforce. And will have more advantage after the merger
as for mg. I’ll say german’s mg34drum win. But dt29 haveno great disadvantage
stg44 sniper completely killed avs sniper
this is what i call “karma” for what you did to stalingrad axis now you reap the reward of being DESTROY by axis in return so no hard feeling eh?
(altho i remember how you slaughter those stalingrad axis bot while me and other guy was the only human now you will understand our pain) oh and im not gonna help the allie cause i dont want to farm them yet unlike stalingrad axis where i CHOSE to farm through that hell
also parrot info can be “exaggerate” at time cause it used to be like current day stalingrad where allie are way better than axis but the tide change now
population difference due to the incoming merge. germany has the best end game gear in berlin, so people are rushing to get as much as possible unlocked of that sweet stuff before the merge hits.
the event breda is just too good…i think the big switch happened with the paraflamers and their 32 mts. stream of death, breda just nailed the allies coffin and buried 200 mts under.
hopefully the same could happen if they ever release the soviet paratroopers in berlin first, before the hammer falls.
i have farm that for 3 month recently so yea i suffer through hell till it get a little better and i doubt it would stay like that for long since a lot of soviet player are there farming bot last time i check (5 day ago)
american server dont know what it like currently since i got my mp717 now so i dip and tbh i dont want to go back there again before merge unless i have too
idk i have never change server at all so i dont really know what it call gonna edit it tomorrow after i see what the “american server” are call since it 2am rn
oh and if you keep playing stalingrad there is a 50% chance you will meet a player name “kokap” i know this since he was there during my time grinding through hell
Same here, I grinded Stalingrad Axis about the same time as you but on European server, Axis got pushed over all day except late evening when suddenly they had as many players as allies and destroyed them hard.
Stalingrad Axis are probably older dudes with jobs with no time to play during the day.
I’m talking about when it comes to end game and the new BR goes into effect And in the past the Soviets kicked ass when Berlin came out but now things have changed the Soviets are either hiding in Moscow or they’re in the test server doing stuff.
Two months ago, I grinded to tanker 2 on both sides of the Stalin i order to use the StuG F and T34STZ. I don’t think there is any problem with the balance.
Maybe I’ll find time to check it out again.
