What does Gaijin think about this?

nope, that is game development for you. Why should devs waste time simulating shit outside of their feature scope if they can work on polishing the rest aswell?

Should the devs now start simulating every single grain of sand independently on a beach/desert just to make walking through sand so much more immersive?

yes

Dude, that’s their job, not mine. If they do, they’ll make the game better. Also, have you seen the jumping animation in the game? It’s absolutely terrible, especially jumping out of the window. It’s a difficult action; the character has to lower their head and slightly bend while jumping, and their feet should jump in unison.

I don’t care if the buildings break or if the NPCs are smoking cigars, that wasn’t what my comment was about.

I am against the execution animation because it is ridiculous for the theme of this game.

On the other hand, making buildings break is not only easy (because there are already free-to-use scenes available) but it would be even better, especially for the rats who only know how to camp on the third floor.

Maybe it’s hard for Gaijin to do this or impossible to do it well ?

also what is theme this game ?

Both? The devs are incredibly lazy and have never shown any talent for doing anything right… On the other hand, executions are for games where you’re a single character. Here, you control up to 10 soldiers, including the main one you play as. Being executed or performing an execution yourself renders the rest of the bots useless. Also, keep in mind that the enemy you’re executing also has bots following behind, and they’re melee monsters… Therefore, any attempt to balance this is ridiculous.

A kind of arcade simulator? Not even the developers know.

It goes without saying that executions are a method of quick death in games where players are damage sponges and you can’t kill them even after emptying two magazines; that’s the excuse for the existence of “executions”.

._.?? xD
