It may be the only way to introduce more “non-meta” equipment.
Even now there are weapons that are simply not worth using. Or guns that are artificially nerfed because they are spamable.
Though I guess it would have to be separate from the “main” gamemode.

There are different types of gamers, and all players have their own favorite ways to play.
From the perspective of the development team, additional sane game modes will expand their customer base. And bring more money to the development team. Players can spend money to buy these non-meta weapons and use them in the game.
You are acting like your idea of restricted spawn would have any tactical/strategical impact. Nope, you just want deliberately degrade people who doesn’t like your lame restrictions. Trying to just act like some kind of intellectual elite when nobody really asked or cared.

The simple fact is if these take up tank slots 90% of players wont ever use them, especially f2p who dont have access to multiple vehicle slots.
No one use it after one month.

Exactly. I have no problem downing planes with AA or just hoping into my fighter slot for a quick interception. If this takes up tank slot there is absolutely no reason to use it.
I think the same way each team can get 2 planes but they have to be different ie not 2 bombers they should do something similar with land armor
1 heavy 1 medium 1 light (could be a puma or one of these gun trucks.)
Or just 1 tank 1 light vehicle probably closer to the current 2/2 system.

Tbh i could see this changing over time, the tech tree br system thats coming will likely go through growing pains and i could see them changing vehicle slots and how they work over time especially if they add more utility vehicles like this instead of just tanks and planes

Agree with this. Very similar to Tunisia motor squads, that is to say rarely every used or useful.
if player is limited on 4 slots , makes 0 sence to bring bike squad on tunisia… maybe reason we dont see as many.
if player have more slots . maybe , ye.
the issue is that this types of squads, wont come with their unique slot for the people that need them.
not for guys like me. but for f2p players that either choose a nice vehicle or this side unlocks.
a nice vehicle will always be superior to this unlocks… atleast for people with base slots. for them, this should be unlocked with a unique slot to use.
or like the event with the mechs , get certain points and it does appear ingame to be spawned.

like the kaytushkas in moscow on the loading screen of voyo map. just be there to be used if needed. no one in the right mind after the initial unlock days, will bring this over a nice tank if base slot user.
