What do you think about? (3)

hello, this is the third of a series of topics focusing on your opinions on an element of the game …

the element of today is the most terrifying SMG never created obtainable by German the MP28 (were you expecting something that ended with 42/43/44?) the weapon in question is the worst smg in the game
(only in moscow/stalingrad/tunisia german/italian side)…

you can choose between 3 answers (for today) and from that choice you will have to build your opinion…

  1. the weapon is ok
  2. it requires some changes
  3. I don’t have it yet, but I have seen/used it and I want to give my opinion

No rant today bot side agree on the fact that mp28 is a shit

Here we go again

2, it should get its 32 rounds back or at least it’s fire selector

Or make the mp34 the starter smg

  1. It’s ok against bots but as soon as the enemy takes up a fight you are probably dead.

stalingrad somehow made me apreciate the mp28

still, i wished was an mp34

someone at darkflow must hate mp34, that’s the only explanation

considering how it was first introduced and was quite awefull to a point of being somehow worse than the mp28, i agree.

good thing after people like my self made threads about it, got better in normandy

such a shame that the mp34 still remains only in normandy :frowning:

Well I transferred all my fully upgraded MP28 from other campaigns to Stalingrad, and I am actually quite surprised, that it feels pretty accurate and nice to use. I mostly aim for heads in CQC and it gets the job done.

its definetly close to the bottom when it comes to smg’s

but its not nearly as bad as people say imo

  1. But I would have preferred the MP 34 as the starting SMG in Stalingrad.

Higher rof. The rof in game is unrealistic. Fully upgraded gun still has 50 less than it had irl.
Higher accuracy. it was a very good and high-quality gun, so I do not understand why it’s less accurate than an MP40.
A fire selector.
And possibly a larger mag.
As well as being removed from Tunisia and Stalingrad. No reason for it to be there.

It’s in fact not too bad. It SEEMS bad if you compare it to the starter ppd, but it’s decent for support fire and accurate 2 shot salvoes.

In Tunisia I even prefer it to the Sten, which is the worst smg in my opinion… that shower pipe just spout bullets in random directions, mp28 is at least controllable

It seems bad when you compare it to any other smg besides the first grease gun

I answer 2.

Even though the MP28 is visually a nice gun as well as the iron sights being good. However the fact it only has 20 round really kind of lets it down. Also the recoil is a tad high.

I would like too see the 32 round variant, The MP34 in its place or a choice between both of them in Stalingrad as its just boring using the MP28 across most of the campaigns as a starter smg

The MP28 works as it should. It was ok for me in Moscow and is ok in Tunesia and Stalingrad. Being able to switch fire modes is quite nice as well.

Short version: 1.

This is quite possibly the best thing i have ever seen.

Thank you for the picture Pikachu :3

Why are the old side loading German smgs so…smexy.

They look great, i love how MP 34 looks. Shame it is only in Normandy. Same as MP 28 Ext. Tbh, i dont really mind if they give that gun to another campaigns, and i own it.
Also, here is screenshot without HUD:
