If you know where to hit the ammo rack on the PZII it is a cinch to one-shot them. On the right side of the tank there’s even a dent practically marking where the ammo rack is.
I’ve made it work on every map, even the ‘city’ because rooftop PTRD sniping is still a lot safer than trying to close in with a det pack. Really the city map is the only one where the GzB would be the best choice imo.
Being able to go prone in a bush somewhere makes you virtually invisible to tanks while you’re filling them full of holes. The biggest threat while tank hunting with antimaterial rifles is getting sniped by a bot.
There is no harship in blowing up tanks of either faction with det packs in Moscow or Normandy. Just hold them until the trooper throws them on his own and aim for the tanks site. So long as they land under, on or next to the tank itt will explode or at the very least be immobilized and receive significant dmg. Have not tested it for the Berlin campagne yet.
Esp. for the German anti-tank squads it is a massive bother to attack tanks with anti-tank gun in Moscow making it not worth it unless there is too much infantry on the way to close in of throwing range

Do we really need more armour/ self propelled Anti Tank etc. I don’t really think we do.
I don’t want to see generic heavy armour, I’d rather see recon/ light support tanks like the Sdkfz 140/251/222.
But again, this game needs MUCH BIGGER maps to even make those useful.
I expect they will be all over the map and some quite well hidden/ protected so that it will be a challenge. but then again, teams at present can barely function on main objectives, let alone secondaries
I would say at present it is, but once they have a number of campaigns running, it will be much easier and less noticeable.
I some what disagree, I much prefer the campaign system as it feels like it bases the fighting to a specific time/ place, where as a year bracket would just feel alot more… boring?
Like, the Moscow campaign makes you feel like your defence has to hold, whereas a generic 1941/42 campaign would drastically change course to being just a red army vs german shooter with no real point
Kinda why i think tanks should be replaced with armoured cars or light armour at best.
See I think it’s more than just bots that will snipe you. That Halo-sniper-esque trail the shots leave behind make it trivial for anyone paying attention to pinpoint your location.
It’s scarcity of detpacks and having to cross the map through infantry to kill the tank sometimes.
Antimaterial rifles can keep firing and if you can see a tank you can pen it just as well as you could at close range.
There are no “anti-material rifles” in this game - let’s leave the anachronistic and a-historical nonsense to Darkflow please - players can do better!!

My impressions is that I’ll have to grind the equivalent of 20 days just to get to the point to grind out one of those levels for one of my factions. I honestly think the progression system is hot garbage. Every time new content shows up just ad it in to the pile, pile it up, pile it up, keep on piling so nobody will get it without paying for their salvation.
Although I do agree with you for tanks, I’d love to see a wolverine, or some more armoured cars, or some half tracks. They just add better and better equipment making anything else they can add redundant with the way the progression is.
The German anti tank rifles in Moscow are generally useless. Furthermore there is no scarcity of Det Packs you can give every man in your Squad more than one detpack, while only needing a single one to blow up a tank
Progression is a terrible mess. Stacking more new things on top of it will only make that fact more apparent. Otherwise new free content is always good.

Thompson and beretta are nice, but the tommy at level 29 maybe too far away, chaffee is gonna be the best tank upcoming, and the premium squads for normandy like the g41 isn’t going to sell very well due to the fact that you can unlock the g43, a magazine fed instead of clip fed semi auto, the Johnson maybe more.

I’ve been shot out of the turret of the T-60, T-26, and BT-7 at long range by it.
I have no problem shooting out the crews of the mentioned tanks. But it is far to inefficient when i can just blow up the whole tank with a detpack i have on squads i can also efficiently use overwise in closer proximity or mark it and hope the planes/tanks do their job and continue on with whatever role I fulfill at the time. If it really comes down to me dying I would rather use a tank or hop into a bomber than go for the anti tank squad to deal with
It is very disappointing that we are not having replacements for Italian and British weapons where they shouldn´t be. And it is outright stupid to add tanks that either will probably be too strong (T-50) or unhistorical (Chafee).
On the other hand, at least we are not getting premium squads with automatic weapons.

I would love to see AA tanks/artillery tanks and more light vehicles, give us more variety of vehicles please 
unfortunately, devs stated that new vehicles are not their priorities for the moment…
