In my opinion it should be a great urban alternative to more rural Normandy and offered Berlin experience for Allies players that currently don’t have fully urban map. If it were to be added it should be folded with Normandy campaign.

Well technically, the Battle For Arnhem wasn’t technically part of the Normandy campaign, but I absolutely agree it should be in the map rotation. But then, I could say the same for a lot of other important battles.

I wouldn’t be opposed to adding Arnhem, but it’s pretty far from the top of my list of locations I’d like to see.

I’m primarily suggesting that from uniform standpoint, wouldn’t want to purchase basically the same uniform from Normandy again just to keep my drip in Holland lol! It’s sorta like Stalingrad/Rzhev kind of deal I guess.

I would prefer the Italian campaign instead.
We could see equally famous battles such as Monte Casino and Anzio landing which would take place in drastically different settings with noticiably different customization.
Meanwhile Arnhem is just an in between Normandy and Bulge.

but yeah. i’d like some italian maps first, and battle of aechen. and why not. arhnhem etc.
after all, there are many.
as for the italian maps, well, more italian and dak uniforms.
and battle of aechen, would use the berlin preset.
( and yes. bias because of the volkssturm. which in all fairness, we should see more volkssturm appearing in the battle of the bulge too, but for some reason, not available… ).

To put it bluntly, this is one of the top maps that I have played quite a bit.
It’s a memorable battle that came up often in older FPS.

There are a lot of maps that can be added, and I do agree that US vs Axis lacks some urban maps for sure.
Just look at the recent Pacific map - its a nice change of combat for once, considering that the many other maps are very open and large in general.
A good mix should always be the goal, that being said, invasion of Italy could also fill this role pretty well.

I think if they do an Italian map, they should start with a small section of the invasion of Sicily. and work their way up.

Sicily would be easy since they could reuse many uniforms from Tunisian campaign.
Though DF should work on Italian and British winter uniforms anyway since they are desperately needed in Stalingrad and Bulge.

I think the most important campaign to add right now is Manchuria to finally get 4 way matchmaking
