You are never going to get another para squad because if you did it would be unfair.

How hard is the fact that they are interchangeable making them the best so hard to understand… even you go to say it’s a disadvantage because they don’t have a unique weapon… pfft.

Not bad that the paras can change its weapons, but I also wouldn’t mind get ppd with a bayonet for 1 br as 3-th squad :3

Yeah… i mean other factions can run like 4-5? Wouldn’t be too bad to give soviets a BR1,3 or 5 one atleast.
and i do somewhat get that… can be boring to run the same weapons and the whole point of premium squad is usually to use something you can’t in tech tree.

Most nations only get their 3rd squad only in BR 4 or 5 at which point the first squads become obsolete. So no most factions do not get a viable 3 cycle of paratropers.
The closest faction that gets one is the USA which has it in BR 3 but that hardly counts as USSR does not fight the USA.

I personaly use RPK or Breda - its not bad. But indeed something would be nice - a decent DPM with a bunker for 25 rounds or a trophy ZB-26.

I still have to say that the Soviet Union really lacked elite commando units that were paid in gold coins.
Level 2 and 3 have absolutely no powerful assault squads.
There are quite a lot of option level 5.
I hope to obtain more Level 2 and Level 3 paid assault squads with gold coins.

I like to have even one decent 2 br premium assault squad. Not a paras without engi, not cut off medics, not br1 guns. Just one assault br2 su premium while axis have 10
