I’d like to finally ditch the crappy M3 Grease Gun that came with this 4-man squad and equip them with the Armory: New Shipment Event 50-round Lanchester but the weapon slot is locked. What gives?
Changing weapons in premium squads is not possible.

you cant if you keep the Bag slot, change it for 2nd Weapon Slot and you can still using m3 and 50nd lanchester
its like this, change bag for 2nd weapon slot and you re abled for use your lanchester

Wow I was surprised premium squads can change this. Just tried and got some nice Kar98’s for my useless MP28 premium squad.
I did however notice the weapon doesn’t get a premium logo, but the trooper does. Does this mean using the secondary weapon doesn’t give you premium rewards?
No. The squad itself gets double XP, not the weapons
Ah thx for that. So the engineer slot they added is essentially premium too then?
I was planning to test this somehow but don’t know how. Perhaps after the merge when I can go full premium for Germany except the engineer in one squad and see if there is any discrepancy in the premium/regular rewards at the end.
Yes and no.
All premium engineers can build basically everything except HMG (if they’re not in MG squad).
The engineer you assigned to this old premium squad doesn’t have such option.
But experience wise, the squad is what matters.
Yeah, sorry, that is what I meant. I also noticed it’s just a basic engineer I as if it’s in another squad and not an engineer squad unlike premium engineers who behave like Engineer II’s within an engineer squad (even when they are part of another squad).
