What are your thoughts about teased option to repair tanks from inside?

I wonder what ppl think about this mechanic devs teased.

Personally I think it’s completelly unnecesarry and and kills the remains of realism this (already very arcade) mechanic has.

I simply don’t see a reason why add it.

The breech is the only thing that would make sense to repair from inside the tank.

I think on the contrary some thing can be repaired inside but not all things… let’s see what they decide, we don’t like it we will push back

I see we have an optimist here.

+optics but they don’t get destroyed really and probably they won’t

simply why not? the real thing i’m worried about is HE damage stability and MGs’ buff

I think it makes sense to fix breach, coax mgs and maybe turret ring from the inside.

It will make no difference as the barrel and tracks are what get damaged and you can’t repair them without losing your crew.

Combined with losing commander zoom, tanks are painful to use now.

the loss of zoom in the commander’s view is hard to live without

Some tanks, like the M3 and anything without a coaxial like every Japanese tank really needed it.

tigur wonder if crew can repair the transmission from inside…

to be fair… everything besides fixing tracks, field repairs in an active battle are pure fantasy anyways…

But there is no need to make it even more fantasy. What is the benefit?

Now if you hit repair and look around like this inside the tank to fix stuff, it would be awesome

Well, if introducing a mechanic to repair tanks from inside is just an excuse to add detailed tank internals with moving parts, crew etc,…
Then delete all my previous comments about this and take my money.

Some modules should be repairable inside and also you should be able to extinguish fire inside the tank and not outside.

Its not realistic to begin with.

Well the devs react to the negative feedback of the community.

In my mind the fact that you can’t simply repair your gun barrel without exposing yourself to enemy fire is great, but when people don’t like it there is little chance for it staying.
