What are these tiny yellow flags to the right of some missions? Seems like only the first 2 missions have them. Or are they random?

In the past they were flagged to be main missions and hard to do. But it has no meaning anymore.

It still means exactly that. That’s why the one mission without one is always something like “Play 9 minutes” “Kill 12 enemies” “Capture one objective” etc. If you have one mission left and it has a flag you can reset it and you should get one of the easy non-flag missions as they should always comprise at least one of the missions available.
