So it’s been a little over a month since we heard an update on the roadmap. Especially about the preferred map system.

Normally we have an updated when the new season in out so just have to wait 5 days.

As far as I can remember, the new season won’t contain any new content other than BP weapons.
That’s usually how it is we’ll get radio silence on their plans until right before they’re ready to drop them. We also have to keep in mind that they aren’t running with the same development team numbers that they were a year ago. They’ve already had a fair number of people leave enlisted’s development team to start working on war thunder. That wasn’t by their choice we can blame the big snail for that one.
From my understanding this road map is supposed to be mostly complete by December, It’s normal for them to not complete everything on the road map and still have three or four items near the end of it that are incomplete that will come the following year before the next road map drops. Some of the things on that road map have already been introduced, such as the recent change to silver and research costs as well as some quality of life changes. But it’s not entirely out of the question to ask about the road map, we just have to remember sometimes they stealthily sneak things in and don’t mention anything in the patch notes. Your best bet is just to keep an eye out, Even if they don’t say anything about the changes they’re making they’re slowly happening over time.
In which case i hope they don’t add the ability to invite friends to ongoing matches as that would the most damning feature to this game.

I hate when my squadmate or myself cant join due to some glitch or internet problem and then has to wait over half an hour to be able to join in another game.

The problem is theres matches where you can work your ass off for a win you’re just about to get from simply earning it and then three more people join another friend thats in the game come in to rip you off essentially. I can get why Cod does it but not a game like this. But if someone whos already in a matches bugs out, then yeah thays different, they should make it to when they return to the lobby, they have the question pop up on the screen asking if they want to rejoin. Not making them restart the game to give them the question.
Don’t get your hopes up. The devs were kind enough to give us the roadmap to let us know what they are working on. I doubt they will update it often, or at all unless there is a major update that accomplishes 1 or more of the things they said they were working on.
Even then, 1 or a few things don’t mean they will update the roadmap. We’ve had situations in the past where we’ve gone 3 to 4 months at least before they’ve came up with an updated roadmap with some of those things from the previous one checked off.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they came out with an updated road map later this year but I’m fully not expecting it, it’s normal to not have 2 roadmaps in a year.
