already mentioned due to limitations of the squads already being maxxed is the excuse
I mean they are fine as is, 9 angry guys with pistols and grenades, what could else you ask for?
Hello, prem/event rifleman squads have a problem , adding a 10th soldier slot would cause issues beyond just a balance issue, for example: How would the UI deal with an extra soldier? How would the poses in the hangar display an extra soldier? Etc…
Removing or replacing a soldier would likely be even harder, as you’d have to check the inventory of each player…

I mean, you can always use a ma deuce.
You can just convert the soldier number 9in the squad from trooper to engineer.
Make an announcement and give people a week to put the right trooper in the slot. Switch all squads in one go and done.
Not very hard.
