With the planned changes to obtaining weapons from Logistics, random weapon/s for bronze orders will be removed.
If currently the only method to get more sidearms is through that system, how are we going to be able to get more in the future?
This has been on my mind for a while but I’ve never bothered to ask until now that we get confirmation of the weapon logistics rework. There have been a handful of times where having a sidearm on my soldier kept me in the fight even just a little longer.
Basically get fucked.
be a bronze weapon like bombs, bags, etc?

Wait 2-3 months for twitch drop event and get one ahahahahah.
Maybe after a month they will realize that, same with sliver order troops. That they made half-thought out update. The change with academy itself was a good one but they omitted so many dependent things, like now dead nodes in squad tree increasing reserve pool, premium accounts, selling now unneeded troops, gain of silver troop orders that was capped for 1 per day for elite BP and nearly non for F2P… I bet it would be rough with the weapons too as with their attitude it is very likely they miss something important that was related to random weapons gain.

I mean, to be fair to Darkflow, these are all things that usually come up post change.
And seeing as this is, as far as i know, their first major online game, then it’s only fair to give them some leeway.
As for pistols, I will assume that they’ll either be randomised on a bronze drop, or as Silver orders like the main rifles.
Not sure if it is a good time to wait a month after introducing a change that makes silver the only way to obtain new soldiers without actually introducing a method or earning it since it shifts bronze/sliver economy drastically. It is something that could have been easily anticipated and thought of.
