In the past I’ve made post suggesting that the MP18 squad should receive a unique helmet to make it more desirable: Give the mp18 squad a unique helmet (2)

But recently the Devs added this to the game:

If the face shield is removed and the texture changed then we could have a ww1 model stalhelm, like this one:

So would you like to see a unique helmet get added?

BEFORE YOU VOTE: I DO NOT WANT THE FACE SHIELD VERSION IN THE MAIN GAME, I WANT A HELMET LIKE WHAT IS SHOWN IN THE 2 OTHER PICTURES.

Do you want to see a ww1 style helmet added?

I hope this’ll be available for all german squads and not stuck to one. Then I’ll SLIGHTLY forgive them

This is an incredibly rare helmet that was probably a one off in ww1, I don’t think it should be in Enlisted, not even as an event item.

We have a cold war jet, paper tanks, and fictional guns. I think we’ve pass that point.

There’s no need to make it worse, also most of those are quarantined in high br, putting fantasy items in the general customisation is like opening pandoras box.

Even if that was true it doesn’t mean you have to advocate for the game to get worse, who’s side are you on?

Honestly I don’t care if it’s an for an event squad with changeable smgs, or available for all. I just want it for one of my squads for all fronts.

not to be that person,

but this helmet is in the game since 2020.

so, no, it wasn’t recently added.
technically, even older than enlisted considering it’s from cousine royal ( /CRsed )

and in all honesty, it’s a very old model and the texture really reflect it.

so perhaps a newer model to give to the mp18, sure.
as well be used for WW1 mods.

For Berlin preset, yes. It would fit VS stuff. But I don’t see why it should be available for all German squads in other campaign presets. Enlisted is not themed around WW1.

It also makes sense to be exclusive to be mp-18 squad because they are using an old leftover weapon so why wouldn’t they also be using an old leftover helmet.

We don’t have any 1939 or 1940 maps in Enlisted. So how is that any relevant?

The helmet didn’t just disappear, those issued with it wouldn’t have thrown away a perfectly good helmet, there are pictures of it being used during the war as well so it was clearly used for a while and probably never fully phased out of service.

They are just confused after I posted it under the news post, as I noticed that helmet in the BP icon, I should perhaps mention that the thing was in the files for a longer time to avoid assumptions :stuck_out_tongue:
But indeed, I wish it wouldn’t be wasted on a zombie together with a lobster armor, unique cosmetics would be great to have in this game as I suggested not so long ago

Maybe we could get the faceplace stahlhelm and lobster armor for an change assault squad equipped with smgs? Kinda like how we can change the assault rifles for different ones for the assault engineers?

I dont understand, but IMO such kind of cosmetic items should be as rare as obsolete weapons from the same time period. Adding the helmet for the MP18 squad is ok, but outside them it just should be separated from standard customization. I would just quit the game after seeing such armies of knights running around.
