I had already heard this news before, but it’s definitely an aircraft I’d love to have.
But I’m not really sure if it’s a plane worthy of BR5.
The armament is certain, but what is at stake is the aircraft’s own performance.
Compared to the Ki-83, the engine is indeed superior, but the problem is that the aircraft itself is a bit larger, so the weight has increased quite a bit, which is a concerning factor.
So will this really deliver aircraft performance worthy of BR5? I think I’ll have to see for myself and find out.
But I’m fine with it coming out.

Well you are right its more of a BR IV/V since will be the worst BR V but simply there is no better option and in difference of Ki-83 this one will be able to attack armored targets very different then the Ki-83 that is bad ground attacker this one is at least good at that job. But yes its not on the level of other nations BR V Ground attackers but better then nothing since in war thunder there is no Rank IV Japanese ground attacker sadly. I bet the put same squad as the jet. They love to jam everything under 1 squad japan.
That’s a ground attacker they cant but I hope they don’t put it on the same squad with the Ki-83 and like the allies separate them in a two different squads.
