a quick look and it’s already a screw up… some stupid stuff right off the bat… mortar squads with same mortar at all different levels, 20mm Stuka is Tier 2, earlier version is T3… and that’s jsut a quick look at Germany.
Squad system filters don’t include Tier as a filter, so you’ve still got 17 tank squads, 13 fighter squads, etc, only 2 “vehicles” where “vehicle” = plane or tank…
Pick an AT squad at T2, but I can give it Pzfst - which automatically makes it T3 - I have T3 AT squad(s) - if I wanted T3 I’d have picked one - if it’s a T2 squad then bloody well limit it to T2 weapons please!!
Only 6 squads - have to pay 450 Gold for a 7th - 2 “Bike” slots?? WTF?? I guess having 360000 Gold kindof makes up a bit for that one at least!

BR issues can be easily rebalanced in upcoming updates. I doubt anyone expected perfect balance from get go.

Why do we have to play with this drek after supposed user testing - were all the testers blind? Stupid? Bought off? Ignored??
Oh yeah - 4 tests of a whole 2 days each was all we got - and as a result we get crap, crap and more crap!
Expected something not stupid and not so obviously inadequately tested!

Your poor stuka is BR3 instead of BR2. :(( I feel so sorry for you.
It’s definitely not like that you have X numbers of planes which you can use on specific BRs. The 20mm stuka is what matters and that’s why whole update is tragedy!!!

Not having much fun in BR4 as US, you will be forced to play against KT and good luck trying to deal and dmg with your crappy 75mm. Now every game feels like a e-sport tournament with those tryhard players. Enlisted is done as a casual game.

VG.2, possibly the worst bolt action in the game, is BR3. You know what else is BR3? THE P-51 D-5. Otsu is BR4, higher than the Garand, despite being abysmally bad. Type 4 is BR5, despite being on par with the Garand. At best the Johnson. Its more akin to G-41, which is BR3 (or is it BR2 even?). Over half on the garbage in BR4 in allies is a downgrade from BR2/BR3. Barnfighter/Boston is BR4, but now they get to face space UFOs like late model 109s/mid 410s and 190s. And Panthers. The P-47 is BR5, despite having to face way heavier armour and even stronger UFOs than before - you go from fighting middling G series 109 to the K4. Us doesn’t even have a BR5 fighter at this point. The best russian bomber under BR5 is the damn P-40. SVT-40 is BR4, despite the fact its barely any better than SVT-38 and significantly worse than the ZH-29. Last viable SMG for russians before BR5 is the damn PPSh-42/43 which is like BR2 (i think). Half the bolt actions are hilariously over-BRd.
Russian AT rifles can now face even more chonky armor (and they were already ineffective), or you can equip the Panzerfaust and go directly to BR5 for the rest of your days

I saw that and concluded they moved it up because of the 3x 250kg bombs while the 20mm stuka only had 1x 250 and 4x50s. (Id clearly take the D-5 myself…and I will…better match for the IL-2)
I saw this one as silly, but minor (I mean you can have BF110 at BR 2 anyway so) in comparison to stuff like PPs-43 at Br 2 while others that arent as good or about the same are as high as BR 4
But there are lots of stuff that is clearly out of place and has been posted time and time again, since the first showing of the progression tree, which they didnt clarify wasnt br (at the time). PPS-42/43 was flagged waaay back then…and it hasnt moved or been matched by bringing like smgs down.

- Panthers in Stalingrad
I can only imagine I’m bound to see a Panzerfaust in Stalingrad sooner or later

The problem is the game did a complete 180 on its original vision and the new system isn’t compatible with the original. Heck I guarantee the devs didn’t ever think it would get to this point, maybe in an alternate universe we would’ve had 2 new campaigns by now. But here we are
I think maybe they might as well remove individual squads entirely and just have 1 of everything and we can make various preset loadouts

Yes, and so far, BR3 played against BR5 almost exclusively, at least in the first evening. It got slightly better at like 3am…
First match i played after the merge was at BR4 Russians on my part. It was on Stalingrad University map. First cap became surrounded by wrecks of Tigers, Tiger 2s, late model Panthers. Literally everyone had Panzerfausts 100s and FG42 IIs/StG44s. There were FW190s and G.55s in the air.
I also saw random Italian M13/41 (the one that came right after AB41, don’t remember the digits exactly) assaulting the Tractor plant, desert camo included
