Well, this event was unnecessarily grindy

What was DF thinking when they put in challenges that require you to play 6 hours a day every day for 2 weeks,during Christmas and new year, and if you didn’t know, a whole lot of people travel during that timeframe, but even if you didn’t travel,you would still be spending the holidays with family.these events as of lately have been turning into the war thunder events, super long/hard tasks for some squad with a unique feature or gun.DF,please consider greatly reducing the requirements for these events, especially during holidays, where players are more focused on that holiday instead of the game.

i think it too late man but i did propose a change if they were ever gonna do task event again in the future

which is to change “destroy 10 vehicle” to “get 50 kill using tank or aircraft” dont know if this is a good idea tbh

Yeah it is too late to do anything, but I think that would be a better idea because some tanks and planes suck at tank VS tank or plane VS plane and are more infantry support veichles.

It is way too grindy
But it does not need you to play 6h a day, lets be honest
Matches are around 30 minutes on average and you have 2 days for ten
ITS STILL WAY TOO DAMN MUCH (especially for holiday times), YOU DON’T NEED TO BE HYPERBOLIC

To be honest 10 VEHICLES destroyed count everything: APCs, tanks, PC planes, NPC planes like AI bombers and AI para transports
I hate to be the “skill issue guy” but that one is definitely a skill issue. The amount of times there are vehicles literally everywhere and I’m the only one killing them is kind of sad.
Perhaps tutorials should include some anti-vehicle training by default, but there is like 8 other people on the team getting PHYSICALLY pushed around by an A13 or something alike so often and no one thinks to detpack or TNT or try to even disable it in any way.
This game has the best simulation of vehicles available in an FPS out there. For the love of god, you can even mess with them by repeatedly tracking them with AT rifles that can’t do anything else. Even King Tigors can be messed with in that way. That makes them way more susceptible to bombs (unable to drive away) or just loosing crew to rockets or strafing when they get out to fix it. Or they no longer can just run around messing with people. Meanwhile most players seem to just be completely hapless whenever they see a vehicle.
Almost no one builds AA gun despite them being meme’d on by some BR1 plane that can be 1-tapped. The amount of M13’s ive strafed to death is upsetting. LOOK UP. Hell, just spraying your SMG at incoming planes might make them leak oil or water or screw up their flight model. You can also just get kill credit for tagging sudoku pilots before they plow into the ground (it’s literally free, JUST LOOK UP)

The biggest issue for regular players should be the 10 matches per 2 days and the 20k score. Bugged rally point counting is also annoying. (sometimes I end the match with like 30 to 40 respawns and the score updates by like +13)

6 hours was just about the average amt of time it takes to do it, some people get it faster and a lot get it a lot slower.

Im not even complaining about the tasks.
Im not satisfied with the gun. Horn StG squad looks absolutely fantastic, everything about it is fantastic but it comes with the worst AR of the game.
I bet my ass that Soviets will get a better gun.

Give a little justice to veterans who grinded this challenge and increase Horn StG damage from 9.6 to 10.5 so it would be a little bit unique.

i think you are playing different game. longest challenge is play 10 battles and with average match duration of 20 minutes that is 200 minutes in 2 days or ~1 hour and 40 minutes daily.

this is easiest task to do considering that matches are full of vehicles on both sides.

rally points are rather easy when you are playing infantry and building rally point somewhat close to cap. you basically just need 5 rally point spawns per match which isnt that much. also i agree for 10 matches and 20k score. personally i have problem with 10 matches and i can see how some people have problem with 20k score.

if you complete every task in 10 battles (which should be rather easy even for relatively new player), average time to finish should be 3 and half hours or less in 2 days.

The rally point one seems to be half bugged, at least to me. Often it feels like it only counts a tiny fraction of respawns you provide. Recently I’ve been hoggin air a lot, but still, anytime I am on the ground I do build a rally and the counter barely moves up.

it is cause lots of people build them… there are 3-4 rally points per cap in most matches now and there were matches where there were 6-7 of them.

no, i mean, I end up the round with like 20 engineering points and get maybe 5/50 on the task, despite building only rally points
maybe im just tweaking, but it definitely feels leaky

well if it is leaky, then submit bug report. i havent noticed anything like this, but i dont really pay attention to it.
