I logged in to play BR5 Japanese a bunch tonight so I could try and level up my last squad in Fighter Pilot III, and the last few games seemed pretty easy until I realized I was bombing T-28Es, T-70s and T-50s. It took 2 minutes to queue these games…does that mean that there are so few players for Japanese BR5 to fight that they just throw you into ANY match if the wait is too long? Or did some newer players just queue into a higher tier match with lower tier stuff? I should mention that I kept seeing the old BR2 Soviet Assaulter squad in the lime green camo.
Anyone else ever notice this?

Now that I think of it newer players probably wanted to try ou the 1 new PPsh-41 Award they got today…
Since I have not been playing a lot of general game mode, preferring the past six months to play custom matches, I haven’t had a ton of matches. However, once or twice a week I do play cashing in my boosters when they get to 500%, and the past couple months have been picking level three Soviets, and almost 80% of the time get the Japanese. It takes me at least two minutes to get a match, and I would swear that the vast majority of players are bots. I know one game I would say the entire Japanese team were bots. SO, I can’t speak for Japanese BR5, however it doesn’t seem that there is a lot of people playing Japs BR3.
Gaijin IMOP hasn’t been effectively doing enough to keep current players excited, and doing little to grow the game. I tell you what, if Gaijin is letting Enlisted slide preferring to put time and effort into Active Matter, they’re in for a rude awakening. I bought it, played it about four times then deleted it off my computer to save space. It wasn’t worth my time. Gaijin can consider it a donation since I paid for it yet no longer have it.

Most likely mate, It is possible to have a single BR 5 squad and the rest BR 1 , for example, matchmaking ofc would place said player against other BR 5 players

Ya I thought about the event after how some new people tried out thier 1 new toy while they were BR2…there really needs to be a better tutorial for newer players here.
