Out of the 15 games, 9 were in Conquest mode. I quit at the same time.
Of the remaining 6 games that weren’t in Conquest mode, 3 started with a lost cap. Of course, I quit at the same time.
Of the 3 games left, in 2 of them I was playing alone with a team of bots against an enemy team made up mostly of real players. I stayed in that game because games like that don’t even last 8 minutes. I put my soldiers in a house and went to get a cup of coffee.
The remaining game was balanced. We lost, but it was a fair match and guaranteed fun.
I’ve pretty much resigned myself to playing custom matches. I kind of like always getting to choose my own map and game mode, and not being punished if I have to quit, or the network boots me from the game. It’s back to being a fun video game for me again. Well, fun despite the pathetic squad AI which always makes me quit after four or five games out of frustration of stupidity.
