( essentially a hunting rifle for the volkssturm … admitting that those will be a thing after the merge )
and perhas more ww1 german and french weapons ( again, for the volkssturm 
)
( such as mas 44s, Selbstlader 1906, M1916, etc )
not necessary though. as, many guns have been added ( that i could think off )

It is very challenging to take on the highly equipped Soviets in Berlin with those guns, but I can see that you are trying to enjoy this game as a true historical game.
(This one because dev seems have a love for the mp28)

Not a relevant nation, they should rather be added as seperate branch in german faction.
Splitting playerbase into irrelevant factions like french, romanina, italian, british, Spanish etc would be very big mistake (if you are not seeking WT-like matchmaking = pretty much everyone vs everyone without any logic whatsoever). It would just completely annihilate biggest positives of upcoming merge.

Not unless you add someone like Finland who only participated in a small part of the war.
France could fight in multiple campaigns; Normandy, Tunisia, France (if French are added, the battle will be added), Invasion of Italy, Battle of Bulge, ect ect. Basically anything in Europe that isn’t Eastern.
Same with British and Romania (anything in Europe that isn’t Western)
And why would they add the Spanish, they never even fought in the war, lol

Croatia legion and spanish blue division can be added as premium german squad because they was unified in Wehrmacht rank
finland can be added as sub-major for 1941-1944 eastern front map
Romania and Hungary instead can works both as premium or sub tree for italy or germany
