To start this, feel free to post your own wishlist on weapons below, bet it Germany, Russia or Vietnamese gun, or make a new suggestion post.
I am only gonna do this main post for German weapons, as I only play Germany. (Until pizza nation is added, than them too).
For SMG’s I would like to see:
Suomi KP/-31, this SMG was one of the most successful SMG’s of WW2, the use of this SMG in winter war inspired the Soviet Union to create their own PPD-40 and PPSh-41 which contrary to popular belief, are not copies of Suomi KP (well except the PPD-40 which is a bit of a copy) and both of them continued to use a copy of the Suomi KP drum magazine.
Now you may ask, why Germany? Well because, Germany purchased many Suomi KP’s since 1931 and used them in WW2, and since Suomi KP was chambered in the German 9x19 Parabellum, there was no ammo problem. (source: Guns of the Third Reich by John Walter)
Now for battle rifles and carbines:
HIW VSK Battle Rifle, this is a battle rifle chambered in 8x57 IS rifle round, using a standard (same as kar 98k) stripper clip to fill the 5 round integrated magazine, the barrel is moved forward by a manual bolt action.
HIWK VSK Carbine, this is a carbine chmabered in 8x33 Polte cartridge. Using a 5 round integrated magazine but this time it is loaded by a special stripped clip, not the same as kar 98k. The action is a blow forward operation, where the barrel is blown forward by the drag of the bullet and propellant gasses and returns under spring pressure and than chambering a new cartridge. Manfucaturer of both of these rifles is Hessische Industrie Werke.

Grenades:
Panzerwurfmine , this was a shaped charge thrown anti tank grenade used by luftwaffe.
This grenade could penetrate 150mm of RHA at zero degree angle. You would swing this hold the stabilization wings from the rear, swinging from back and releasing it at an angle depending how far you want it to go.
General stats for this grenade
Penetration: 150mm RHA 0 Degree Angle
Explosive: TNT/RDX
Explosive Weight: 520g
Throwing Range: 30m
Weight: 1.35kg
Total Length: 533mm

yep, tho this would have to be balanced somehow. Goliath being extremely dangerous to its enemies.
I believe only the wire guided one should be added, due to max range of 650m and the other variant having range of 12km on road, 6-8km on rough terrain.
Tho I wonder how would they do the view of the goliath from operator perspective.
Tow behind guns would be another addition. This would mean another squad of soldiers as gunners. The squad would also need a vehicle (truck/jeep) for movement. This would be a direct fire weapon. No big arty pieces, just the smaller anti tank guns.
I personally dont see these weapons add much to the experience, as they are “just another SMG” and “just another bolt action rifle”, etc. The panzerwurfmine would probably be very OP compared to the explosive pack and was not deployed during the moscow campaign anyways, maaaybe in berlin but then the armor is too heavy for it to be effective
not for the side armour.
And pretty much every weapon that can be added dont “add much to the experience” yet they will be added, otherwise the game will be very stale.
What could be a reason for their implementation if there was some kind of finnish squad fighting for germany, which could be a premium squad that only contains their uniforms/cosmetics and come pre-equipped with these weapons, their weapons should of course always be unlockable for anyone, whether those users pay or not
No need for a Finnish unit for Suomi KP to be added, Germany used it since 1931.
I dont think the weapons should be unlockable for all if they come with a premium unit, its a premium unit after all. Just like you dont get access to a premium vehicle without buying it in WT.
The only needed reason for them to be added is to prevent the game from getting stale, if they wont add any new content, it just becomes boring.
IDK how prevelant it was during battle of moscow and berlin but it is quite known that many officers and commandos (i belive rading parties on ships loved them) where issued VIS Pistols by Radom wich might be interesting to see in game as over the half of the VIS pistoles where produced under for wermaht under occupation.
Not a particular Wishlist but a suggestion re. the Weapons Delivery mechanic I think that system should be swapped out for a similar mechanic in regards to weapons and ammunition as is available in War Thunder for instance when a particular squad unlocks the use of grenades explosives etc. rather than relying upon a hit or miss system where your never sure if you get what you want simply place a in game currency cost on each deployment of said weapon for instance a M82 APHE shell in War thunder may cost X amount of Silver Lions in this a similar mechanic could be introduced for the introduction of equipment. such as each squad is by default capable of carrying Med packs but as they become more experienced they unlock the ability to carry grenades, explosives Molotov etc. and weapons could also be purchased on demand for instance a squad may begin outfitted entirely with stock weapons but provided they have been unlocked the player is capable of purchasing better equipment with a Silver Lion equivalent. sorry if this is the wrong feed if so please direct me there.
I agree with adding battle rifles but giving germany their PPSh is just too much
Edit: some sources say Suomi was even better than PPSh because it was not made in the rush like PPSh which will make Germany even more broken than it is now. You need to think about the other side even if you only play germans
So you dont only want everyone to suffer through 3+ months of progression, but also go broke while doing so unless you supplement the ingame currency with real money?
IRL you never paid for equipment refills. Heck if you could prove the grenades you ran out of killed a bunch of people, you would get a medal.
Good idea, let’s add this bad boy to our lineup when possible! I’m fine with it being either a premium squad exclusive gun or a standard German gun, as long as we get it. I wouldn’t mind some 1939 campaigns either, Poland vs. both the Germans AND Soviets on the same side would be particularly interesting to see.
It wouldn’t really make sense, both from a gameplay standpoint and a historical one. Germany and Russia weren’t exactly on the same side, they just took advantage of eachothers’ actions to gobble up land.
It would be like having 3 teams with 2 sets of objectives where the 2 attacking teams can’t attack eachother but do contest points separately.
Granted “who can capture more points first” would be kindof fun from Germany and Russia’s perspective, Poland wouldn’t have a playerbase.
Poland did have some neat tankettes and AT rifles though. Gib premiums. I will whale on meme squads.
Yes the Suomi KP was superior to the PPSh, it was built as a quality weapon, it was somewhat heavy tho but it could shoot very fast with very little recoil.
Personally I think it should come to Axis Faction as premium unit, possibly as Detachment Törni unit. That way it would stay as more of a rare weapon.
Althrough Germany historically was a official user of it, even before WW2.
And as I said, Suomi is just too good for Enlisted.
This game already lacks difference between teams and giving Germans a better PPD is going to destroy the only advantage Soviets have
Judging from your profile picture, I totally understand you and I know how painful it is to not get your nation’s weapon in Enlisted.
There is a chance I could agree with you if we receive one of these systems I suggested:
If we get something like in these suggestions, Suomi could be a super rare weapon only obtainable by ONE soldier in ONE squad
