Weapons and vehicles of the "Far Eastern Front" update

It would literally make sense to add the Type 88 to the Japanese tech tree… Thematically and even historically (!) it would fit beautifully. Or they could’ve made some premium or event Manchukuo squad armed with this rifle… It would make perfect sense!

But no, they add it to the Soviets and straight into the tech tree… If they at least made some event squad of Chinese communist partisans, fine… But into the tech tree…

Hmm—but the main point is that in this game, there are at most only two enemy tanks. Although the reload time is slow, it’s generally manageable. And compared to War Thunder, the rewards for reloading here are much higher. At BR2, there are at least anti-tank weapons like the Bazooka. It’s just too demanding to expect BR1 players to land headshots from 800 meters away with those small-caliber anti-tank rifles. Of course, this time I went back to BR2, and its rating was increased simply because some highly skilled players performed too well with it. Those on the receiving end were like Christians—beaten once and then again without fighting back. Over time, they took to the forums to vent their frustrations, and thus the holy Anton stepped in and nerfed it.

Right now, I have a serious question. Have you ever played as the Soviets? Have you ever used the IS-2 all the way to the 1944 version? Have you ever tried taking on a Tiger II with it? Do you have any idea what it feels like to aim with that pitiful Soviet sight magnification at 200 meters, watching the reticle bounce around like that?

That’s because the current international situation influences modern minds in a way that prevents them from fully immersing in the atmosphere of the World War II era. Nowadays, with the global landscape leaning toward Cold War dynamics, people project that mindset onto everything around them. Germany has reformed itself, while Japan’s modern media still often portrays its past wartime actions as unavoidable. As for Europe and the United States, they have no qualms about bullying the Soviet Union as if it were a silent, dead entity. Some even go so far as to suggest that the turning point of WWII was Pearl Harbor. If the current discourse on forums is also dominated by self-serving attitudes, then the Soviet Union inevitably becomes an easy target. The game may not have reached the Cold War era yet, but Cold War thinking is already alive and well in reality.

So we are talking about a machine gun that could only be used in proned or mounted is easily controllable.

What machingun in Enlisted is not easily controllable when proned or mounted? Especially when we just have:

ye, i just don’t understand why not save this for a chinese BR 1-3 or 1-4 faction. Also the chinese and soviets didn’t have any connections except for the soviet aid for china during the sino-japanese war. Also this doesnt make much sense, because the main user of this was REPUBLIC OF CHINA not the Chinese communists and therefore this shouldn’t be for the soviets

Is that a 30round magazin? And will that one have more damage then Type 2A and Type 2 SMG?

If it get 30 rounds but same ROF, then it doesn’t make sense to put in on BR V! IMO it’s also not needed to give it more ROF then both other SMG’s above. Give it same ROF but maybe higher damage

??? (letting out a loud sound of confusion) What is this thing that looks like the American Stinger machine gun? Is it Italian? It looks so similar! Well, after all, they’re both aircraft machine guns — besides, there’s already the example of the German MG 15 aircraft machine gun on the tech tree. If this gun is released as event content or added to the tech tree, Italian machine guns will be really interesting.

But why can’t I leave a comment on your post when I go there?

It’s an Italian machine gun.

This restriction is absolutely ridiculous for a machine gun. Unlike anti-tank rifles, it doesn’t have such powerful recoil that it could literally knock a person dead. The photo has already given the answer — it could totally be fired from the hip with both hands, just like traditional machine guns such as the Gatling. Hope this gets implemented when the update goes live.

Yes its Italian, and yes it looks similar because it was based on the M1919 MG and similarly to the Stinger, was converted.
