still vital organs. It worked like that in RL, it makes sense why they originally designed a simple 10% modifier ( to account for fragments, bullet bouncing on angle etc etc)

This redesign received the name SN-46.

The M2 sawnoff is an absolute joke as it is, it’s a heavily nerfed rifleman weapon only usable by assaulters that doesn’t even have a front sight. The Tokyo Arsenal is generally better, and is a BR lower.

Yeah, no, you’re done even with your little body armor. It protects you against 9mm or less and shrapnel from bullets fragmenting on other metals, small rocks, maybe some frag grenade shrapnels from a distance.
But it’s easier to code “-10% damage” than to individually code these things in. LOL
I thought developers would follow their rule of ‘not releasing better alternatives to old weapons’, considering that M2 sawoff only added this year, it’s quite ironic.
