A machinegun on BR IV that can be only used when going prone or using the bipod…?
Really? There is literally a better version of this gun only 1 BR higher, and let’s just be honest, the bipod system in this game is completely bugged and unreliable.
Nobody sane is going to use this trash gun ever.

the only reason for its existence is that it was easier to copy and paste M2 than to simply make an automatic M1 by changing some string of code
The Type 88 is not a german made rifle it’s a Chinese copy called the HangYang

Really that’s what Japan needs and a bit of BR rebalance of existing planes at top BRs.

B-25J-30 (BR V)
And Type 2 (6.5mm) (BR V)
Everything else is just strange or boring stuff and yet the main issue of lack of lower BR planes for Japan is not addressed.
And did USSR used Type 88 rifle ? I know Japan used them but USSR maybe they take some Chinese squads in the TT ?
Maybe if you don’t have time or resources at least give us this BR II plane it will require small rework on existing plane and give it to Fighter Pilot I:

Japan really don’t get nothing that addresses the issues of the faction and that’s planes at lower BRs.

Very interesting update I think. But why does USSR get Chinese rifle? (From my sources they didn´t even officially use it)
I will be honest but when the update is called “Far Eastern Front” and both stars of the update get not all the content they might need is very disappointing.
All the soviets got is some Chinese rifle to br 1…
No br2 mg (that if i am not mistaken were promised some time ago) or new vehicles to penetrate more reliably TDs like Ho-Ri and Ferdinand with their 200-225 mm in front
You might say that IS-2 44 has some chances of penetrating Ferdinand but somewhat i doubt it but what is more interesting thing is that Ferdinand - 6.7, Ho-Ri - 8.6 and IS-2 - 20.8 seconds of reload… so German has 3 chanced to shoot IS-2 down, Japanese has 2 and this all while IS-2 can experience non pen…neat.
Or Japanese that still in dire need of content like semi-auto rifles (in general but 4th br is in dire need), CAS (a lot of it) and maybe even premoid partisans, maybe even new AT for br 3 to pen soviet tanks… like AR is unknown (we havent seen stats) i hope its good but imo its still lacking and they are the other main star of the update like dood, what is going on here.

You can only shoot this when it’s mounted or if you go prone.
If I had to guess it has 750 rpm fire rate like the “normal” Type 2.
The magazine looks smaller than 30 rounds though.

Honestly, this update is quite disappointing. Also when Soviet body armor damage reduction gonna be removed, Scotti Naval Rifle mag size proper 25 round, sIG being br 2, and both KV-2 being put back in Br 4?
Not gonna, this is some genius move from DF again. Bipods suck and we shouldnt rely so much on them so here is a bipod-only MG.
