I’m pretty happy with the stuff I suggested in my video on filling the tech tree gaps, but I personally never made any posts of any of it in the forums. That would have likely made a difference.

Nope actually screws balance they could have gave T44-100 instead and a counterpart to federov and it would be fine .-.
I agree. T-44 100 with APHEBC BR-412B and HE OF-412 would be the perfect counter to the Tiger II H.
Weaker armor overall, but a slightly punchier gun. Perfectly balanced.

That’s the very fragmented (or say uncoordinated) thing we have to mention:
Enlisted keep refusing to use “Axis” or “Allies” or “Anti-fascist Alliance” or anything else but insists that there are only 4 countries in the game, despite devs are confidently talking about Britain, Italy and even China in news blogs.

The issue is that they’re not even willing to release the T-44-85 now, which is hard to understand. The reload times for these two tanks are similar, but the Soviet 122mm is painfully slow! And at least the T-44-85 could support infantry—have you ever played the IS-2? It’s absolute garbage right now. Sure, planes can hunt Tiger IIs, but that requires skill and is harder than taking them out with tanks. Most players just load bombs for convenience. Are you saying only the Soviets suffer from this? Isn’t that unfair?
And when it comes to historical authenticity—why suddenly bring up balance arguments? As a Soviet main, I’m not buying this “just deal with it” logic. What about Japan’s pile of fictional weapons and 800kg bombs? Weren’t those ignored? Why single out the Soviets? At least the Soviets have real tanks, and the Tiger II’s dominance isn’t even threatened. When I saw Japanese BR 4 tanks get downtiered, I wasn’t mad—I was happy. So why are you suddenly pushing back?

It is placed pretty well imo. The problem starts when it gets downtiered to br2 matches. Also it’s gonna be interesting to see how it’s gonna perform against the Japanese or rather how the Japanese are gonna perform against it.
I wished there was more lower br content but not gonna complain about a new bolt action

I think it’s a neat addition on paper, but hard to balance in the game. Crazy front armor, limited traverse, and no hull MG means this thing is incentivized to sit 1000m in the grey zone, and is only going to die from CAS.

And really, from another perspective, the tech tree is becoming more and more worthy of reputation than the shit itself.
What are the principles behind the design of tech trees? It does not conform to the development path of weapons or the overall historical era, and several types of equipment placed in the same folder have no relationship at all. We don’t even have to talk about the game balance issue which is completely contrary.
Will this Type 88 which originally a German gun suddenly becoming an illegitimate child in the Mosin family?

There’s an issue here. It’s recommended not to create such distinctions because, on the domestic servers, the player base is limited. Most Allied players have moved to BR 3, while Axis players tend to stick to BR 1-2. As a result, Germany could become extremely dominant, but since AI players aren’t implemented here, this missing piece would lead to doubled matchmaking times!

Just use bots to fill in the gaps in matches. They’re honestly better than most players.

Undeniably, bots can build spawn points, engage in combat, and capture objectives. You can’t criticize their intelligence alone, as they are capable of performing essential tasks that real players often neglect.
The Soviet Union vs Germany and Japan, with that 122 gun? That loading time is so long, I don’t know how to play it. I want to laugh when I think of a br for Ferdinand tank and kv1zis gun. Is this the weight that human beings can think of?
