I think the weapon spread and other accuracy related mechanics should be somehow communicated to the player.
I don’t think there’s currently a way to see how much spread or inaccuracy or other penalties the player is currently suffering from.
I think the lower accuracy of weapons is good and all, but when I fire my gun, I don’t know what to expect or what I did wrong.
I don’t mind my weapon missing or having dispersion, but I want to know about it before firing my gun.
Maybe a optional HUD element to display the accuracy of the weapon in it’s current state.
i would not have minded the spread change they made if they also had fixed the damn atrocious mounting system or actually make the goddamn bipod be able to be used instead on lmg’s so we can actually do something with those now useless tools.
If tanks and planes can have a point of aim indicator, it’d be nice to have on infantry too. Not a typical crosshair of “what I am aiming at” but a crosshair of “this is where my barrel is pointing” as in the real world Holding the gun tells me a lot about where I’m pointing that just looking at a tube on a screen.
There is sth written in the files. In the past, you can see the LMG has most high spread radius.
Now we do need that written directly in the weapon’s description.
