If you look at other games, hell, even other WWII games, they post YouTube videos between updates, listing out what they’re working on, doing livestreams, hosting giveaways.
None of that is being done here. Making a YouTube video once a month with an accompanying Forum post, livestreaming on Twitch every two weeks or so, especially on the weekends shouldn’t be too much of a work. ESPECIALLY if you were to care about player feedback. Imagine that instead of trying to fix something in the update players didn’t like (and I’m not talking about a minor issue) you could get that feedback as soon as you just started working on it, instead of frantically trying to put out the fire, you’d only need to course correct.
When it comes to Twitch, I’m sure one of the CM’s or Helpers could play for 2 hours on a Saturday evening. Engage with the community, get feedback, give out some codes for old gold order weapons, maybe some old squads on special occasions. You could even offer a bigger reward for new players instead of 3 days of Premium, which is nothing. It took me more than 3 days just to even figure out the game. More than a helmet, 4000 Silver and a revolver that’s like…what, cost 125 Silver?
Something but this. This…avoiding interactions, listening to players, doing anything BUT the majority of the playerbase, your CUSTOMERS want. The numbers are already showing a decrease in players. This isn’t going to end well if you don’t change.
