Why?
So they spawn back on the ground and do something useful other than sending 100 barrages of tickle rockets to get 9 kills the entire match because and firing upon the nerf cannons or white tick machine guns. While the BF-110 does one suicide barrage and takes out 20.
Obviously a joke, but why do people stay in that thing for so long doing next to nothing to helping. I understand the BF-110 players staying up there because they can rack up an easy 100 kills.
While the P-38 probably need some extra firepower, I still fly it because

→ Sure, til you see the BF-110 suicide run, making your counter planing worthless and killing more tanks/infantry, and will get more kills if you stay up in the air the entire time

But all things considered it’s in between finding the player in the tank, in real life and taking their kids hostage, only to release them if they blow up their own tank, and getting in a jeep and tossing TNT at them.

Bf110 rockets need to be changed to a different, more balanced loadout, or the P-38 should get RP-3s or Tiny Tims or something, which would be more powerful.
Or just play enough to get a feel towards where to drop your payload. Works too.
I’ll never understand why Gaijin refuses to give P-38’s the proper bombs they had. It was bugged so many times with supporting documentation on their loadouts. P-38’s from the F model onward carried lots of bombs.
Gaijin for some reason refuses to add them. /shrug… I love the 38 and have for as long as I can remember. Playing it in War Thunder is kind of annoying though.
Dang, you did the work of 15 new players repeatedly BF-110 who can’t fly and dive bomb the ground into a populated area. Also you had deaths 190 kills in what? That’s like 1 mortar crew which is also impossible to stop. Usually average 150~ kills
Not to mention helps when you plane doesn’t repeatedly spawn with glitched sights.
Missiles that bounce off the Puma, Cannons which are alright if you can find puma’s, also if you where in the BF-110 you would prob have double the kills. That match is the exception to 99.9% of what I see any American plane user do. When I play germany, I do everything to not shoot the P-38 because that is one less useful squad on the ground.
I feel the big issue is just that, even a bad player in a BF110 that cant even bombing run without dying will get 2-4 squads dead if it drops it’s load on a point. Where the other planes of it’s tier cant really do much to infantry. This I’ve seen it take someone sniping in the chateau 3rd floor (attic) from the missile landing right in front of the bush.
Because they haven’t unlocked the A-20 yet?
