I’ll use an example. I am right hand dominant but left eye dominant. If I try to fire my Garand right handed right eyed, your representation is not my sight picture.
I see the rear peep with my right eye and the front post with my left eye unless I close my right.
If I shoot left handed, I see both the peep and the post with my left eye and have a reversed version of the sight picture you guys have chosen to render.
So I shoot a Garand left handed when I’m using iron sights and right handed when I’m using an offset scope.
(For those who may be interested…which is probably nobody… I shoot a M1903A3 left handed left eyed and reach overtop to operate the bolt with my left hand)
Can we get left-handedness implemented as an option? The sight picture of the Garand that you’ve implemented(right handed right eyed) is just plain WEIRD.

I guess ?
Around 90% of humans are right handed & 70% is right eye dominant.

Weren’t left handed people “forced” to use their rifles just like a right handed soldier in most armies?

No. You are expected to hit the target. However you choose to hit the target is your choice. The Garands are all right hand oriented(op rod charging handle is on the right) so it’s your choice whether to adjust to shoot right handed or to hold the right handed rifle left-handed.
With a Springfield, the bolt is oriented under the assumption that the operator is right handed. If you’re shooting left handed, the proper way to fire is to reach your left hand over the action, grab the bolt, operate it, and return your left hand back over the rifle.
weren’t soldiers taught to use their guns right handed no matter what their dominant hand was?

Counter strike did this years ago … I would like to see it eventually in game settings as well. You could start off with just a mirror and then when you get a chance to … do some animations for it … the question lies in however do you change timings for example reload for left and right when you do … as many of these weapons are not ambi controlled and as such things like a reload animation may actually mean reloads are slower.
At least for the M1903, operating the bolt with the left hand adds about a quarter of a second to reloads and about half a second to operation of the bolt.
Reload speed perks and bolt speed perks could be used if it becomes a problem. It’d really only be an issue on the bolt actions
How do you feel about ambidextrous people?

Its a self taught talent when god has handed them big meat

No, this is not necessary. There are far more important things the devs should focus on.
