New players or people moving to another campaign want a fighting chance they need to know what the objectives are to put up a defense Or to stop a steamroll the only people who benefit without the markers are veterans or stacks to destroy the defenders
what makes you think it will help them, when they don’t go to the objective they “can see” in the first place lol
So I know where to go before the objective falls And so I don’t get shot in the back of the head when I’m retreating to the next objective
As I’ve said before, the best solution is to allow defenders to see all objective markers via the map. This way players have a chance to fortify properly.
Is it going to cause “invincible fortresses”? No.
It does however greatly reduce the frequency of an attacker running up with no contest and start capturing the point, or the other instance where a single frag kills 10+ guys because there are no sandbags stopping them.
Even just giving defenders the chance to reduce incoming attacker forces BEFORE they get to the objective.
Locking objective like in confrontation for 30s would be better solution
Why are we even resisting it and not everyone just agreeing on map markers Are map markers so powerful that it’ll break the game or something it’s giving the defenders an idea of where to go or where to put up fortifications really that game breaking.
And if anyone does say it’s game breaking to let everyone know where the secondary objective is or all the objectives then what do you say to the veteran to know the map like the back of their hand and where the objectives are gonna be
