I was excited to discover that one of the recent patches fixed the ability to walk down stairs and low steps without hopping or losing contact with the ground. Now your gun doesn’t drop as you descend stairs or step down off a porch.
It’s a small thing but I made a post a little while ago complaining about it, so I’m happy to see it fixed. Soldiers feel like they’re walking on the stairs now instead of bouncing down. Great job darkflow, keep it up!

Now all that is left is to safely descend the ladder.
In the Berlins River Crossing map, my soldiers always fall into the river when they try to descend the ladder over the bridge. whhhhhhhhyyyyyy
How come they didn’t put that on update log??? this is absolutely big time
Maybe in reality it’s a bug and it will be “fixed” in the next patch?

That’s interesting, I haven’t played in Tunisia for a while so I want aware it was still an issue there.
It was working great for me last night playing in the pacific. I noticed the change while I was running up and down stairs in the multistory buildings and while running along rock formations.
If it’s not working in Tunisia maybe they need to tweak their parameters a bit more, hopefully they can continue to improve things as they go.
