I am not sure if the announced update is realy an improvment.
I am looking a little bit concerned in to the future, if the game becomes to an next jump and run shooter like a call of duty or battlefield.
If they want to fight against similiar Squad decks, like War Thunder. You will always have the Same Enemies, and i am concerned about that a lot of matches will be played like Spray and Pray. with eapons like laser guns. Everyone is going to play automatic weapons. Bur the 2ww was not like that. Only a few troops were equiped with automatic guns. The most of them fougt wirth ordinary or half automatic rifles.
in my eyes it was always the exciting part, that the teams were even not always similiar. And everyone is driving wirt an IS2 to the match.
I always liked it to select an Campaign, witch i want to play, and that the Capmaign set the framework for the equipment what is available.
Thias was the good difference to War Thunder or World of Tanks.
The only hope are custom lobbies but so far we have exactly 0 info about them.
Campaigns will not work with this game. It’s that simple. You cannot spilt the playerbase up between 10+ campaigns. That is not sustainable.
People also do not want to unlock the same crap campaign after campaign. They will get bored fast.
This new system is for the best for the longevity of the game. Historical accuracy is a necessary scapegoat.
People spamming automatic weapon is already very common in game. However if you play low br after the update, you won’t be meeting them(selective fire rifle).
Or you just want to farm panzer 4 with your is2.
This right here
This is why I’ve promoted a theatre system in which the game would essentially be split into only 4 groups (Western, Eastern, Mediterranean, and Pacific), and the number wouldn’t grow with new campaigns as they would just be added as maps into the theatres. And said theatres could include some of the proposed changes such as rank-based matchmaking.
Keep in mind that Enlisted is not in the position that War Thunder is in where it is one of few competitors in a niche market. Many players play Enlisted for the historical accuracy, and a change to an arcade style will make it more comparable to games like Battlefield 5.
Historical accuracy and realism, but lower barrier to entry than HLL, PS is identity of this game.
But now they abandon it and choose to be an arcade game.
Trash motions, graphics, lack of details, but too light, then who the hell do this game instead of BF and Call of Duty?
I will say it is a gamble, being more arcade may bring more player since more people are playing arcade game than realistic game.
It is free to play. This the main difference compare to other ww2 game. Only comparable game I can find is hero and general but it will get closed several months later.
So they will just split the player base based on unlocked gear?
free, but others are also not that expensive.
And those are no need to pay more after the first purchase.
So they should be do better than now to make users to pay continuously…
Free does not mean it’s okay to be worse than other paid game.
I seems like you don’t know much about f2p players. They won’t even pay for a game even it is only $0.99.
There are dlc, battlepass on those game. You also need to pay if you want more content.
I don’t think it is fair to compare a game that is still in open beta that is developed by a small company to a full released game that is develop by big company.
Than what is your fair compare?
What’s the benefit of compare with much worse games like H&G?|
What kind of development can be realized with that “fair compare”?
And I don’t want to suck about how this game is great anymore, so do not reply.
What is the benefit of compare it to 3A game?
This is not a 3A game in the first place. You shouldn’t use the standard of a 3A game.
If you can’t find other non 3A game to compare with it, it means that it is doing good for a non 3A game.
Yeah keep praising this shit bro
If you want 3A game quality you should play 3A game, why wasting time complaining a non 3A game has worse quality than a 3A game.
Enlisted has nothing to do with realism. Using enlisted in a same sentence with hll/ps on realism topic is funny. This is very arcady game.
About that “everybody will use meta so all games will be same” thing ; they have announced that for every squad we will have multiple setup options. So you can arrange your squad according to ehic period you want to play.
It’s mostly just the infantry gameplay and maps that are “arcadey”. What sets Enlisted apart is the accessible gameplay (yet not over-the-top), realistic cosmetics, and the mostly-accurate equipment, it’s like a “BF V that everyone hoped for”.
Is same as BFV stuff.
I dont know what it means but I guess its mean arcadaish as well
