What do you think, was PREMIUM campaign (stalingrad) success?
Will the next campaign be this way or will they turn back to the old model?
I really hope that the next campaigns wont be like Stalingrad. The thing that i always liked about enlisted is that you can unlock everything for free, if you have enough patience for it. Simply because of the Stalingrad pay to play system, i personally dont play this campaign. Grinding thousands of xp for levels with reward hidden behind pay wall is not my thing. I have premium account, but i wont pay extra money because of 1 campaign. Is there anything unique in Stalingrad? Not really.
I thought it was only early access and after some time the locked levels will be obtainable for everyone. But it seems like its permanent.
My guess is that they didnt make enough money with the stalingrad model, and thats why they went back on their word and started adding premium squads there
I would rather have berlin trains crush my balls than play that garbage campaign
Next campaign? Hmm, next campaign probably feature japanese vs usmc so because is the first one with them is going to be full free to play
stalingrad instead is a totally failure
stalingrad has 2 map and 5 variant of them you play always in the same location, the equipment for the 70% is the same of moscow-Berlin and is rushed towards the automatic weapons (i call stalingrad the ppsh campaign), the monetization of the full access is a joke because broke the economy ecc…
Is the worst campaign of the game for now,at least for me
more like , they failed sucesfully lmao.
.>trick players into believing that there will be no microtransactions:
Spoiler Alert
there are effe micro everywhere. slightly less for those who paid full price, but there are still micros.
.>trick players by saying that stalingrad will have more open objectives
Spoiler Alert
yeah no. mostly inside buildings that are small. or slightly giant to allow grenade spam.
.> trick players by saying that there will be less automatic guns
I know, another Spoiler Alert
and yeah, you guessed, another bs. stalingrad it’s an fully automatic-haven party, just like any other germany or russia campaign. but oh boi, can’t wait for fg42s here as well mass distributed because f you.
.> literally only 5 maps that are in the same corridor.
and last but not least,
.> rush it and make a competitive event right after the introduction of the campaign for not even allowing the free to play players to join with at least an ok equipment.
***SUPREME*** Spoiler Alert
not only they released this event after one week or two, but they also found out during the event it self people cheated to get in high positions in the leaderboard using the new medics. oh no! who would have seen this one coming?! in a non tested campaign. C R A Z Y !.
but, it’s not all that gray fortunately.
as i have bought the pac ( even though the tag doesn’t show because i have to rejoin the forum but i’m too lazy for that ) i did noticed interesting stuff. the medic class it’s somewhat ok, flame tanks are awesome ( not so much for the infantry ), the potential behind stalingrad is quite intriguing and above all, 1 OSK for all BAs. stamina reduction for the mgs and at weapons, and soldiers and tank cosmetics.
those are mainly the good part of this update.
so, i’d say it’s a good 6/10.
could be worse, but could have been much better.
at the end of the day, i somewhat like it.
although, could have been better for the free to players as well. which are the main part of this game.
but i suppose it’s a matter of opinions.
_total failure: no
_met their sales targets: no
Cons: Its few maps more than everything
Its pros: Good mechanics regarding weapons (except the recoil of the MG)
It is not such a bad campaign, but they did have bad decisions with it, but I prefer that this happened to Staligrando, than to some Pacific campaign, which I hope will not repeat this mistake of their new payment method.
Don’t forget basically all the unique stuff being behind the paywall, so there’s even less reason to play it than you’d think at first glance - which is already near zero to begin with.
free kv1 and even in free player can have good stuff on each side
basically the only new thing in the entire campaign
“No microtransactions”
“You will be unable to buy weapons and soldiers for gold”
“One price and you will get everything”
The night witches were a serious punch to the gut aswell. But it is maybe somewhat forgivable given that the squad itself sucks ass to the point where no one would ever use it, and its cheap. so its pretty much just a collectible.
But even with this quote right here (that could be interperated a number of ways because of shitty translations), you would have to lick some serious boot to say that they didnt word everything else as if there wasnt going to be any additional paid content after the first 30 bucks.
I’m sure they think it was success, but it was a lousy job as per usual standard.
Never the less, I like it a lot, love the rifle action and the setting, just the lack of maps is really, really, really disappointing and boooooring, couldn’t care about the MG “nerf” and I think medics are useless, took them out once, don’t even know how to use them nor do I care, monetization was also badly implemented.
Overall, like with everything DF does, 1 step forward, 2 steps back, yay, because russia /facepalm
The only good thing about this campaign is weapon reballance.
Economy and marketing of this campaign is total BS like @ErikaKalkbrenner pointed out.
And that’s just about it
Or one of 4 (four) levels out of nearly 30 (thirty) that has something new compared to other campaigns if you really want to be a hair splitting shit and include some useless garbage planes and a slightly different rifle grenade.
I hope they reimburse everyone and remove that campaign
Actually Stalingrad was the nail in the coffin for me, ever since I pretty much let my YT channel die, lost faith in the dev’s and the project and only come back for the big patches and am usually bored 1-2 weeks later. I have only touched Stalingrad as friend of mine wanted to play it with me and haven’t since.
My friend is interested in the history of World War II, so last week she and I visited the battle of Stalingrad. However, we encountered big trouble in the first match. The krauts had mkb42 and mp717, but she(level 1) only had the bolt rifle and more than 100 delays (fortunately, because we matched so well, and we won at last, which can be said to be “incredible”)
But to be honest, I personally think that the Stalingrad campaign, as a “new campaign series”, is not very friendly to new players. Some content can not be obtained by simply raising the level. If you want to quickly raise the level, Then the player must get this right by spending the money he originally bought afternoon tea XD (In fact, although inductive marketing maybe disrespectful, it is indeed a scheme, at least for the seller’s wallet, that’s good)
As a player that bought the pack, it did work for me.
It’s a nice campaign.
I m trully against selling premiums there tho. Makes absolutely no sence after the micro transaction talk they had.
Future campaigns could come with the same concept and I won’t mind it. even tho some changes wouldn’t hurt.
If it was a failure or not I don’t know. I always face humans when I play there. Even tho the popular talk it isn’t.
