So we already saw several ex Counter-Strike mods: gun-game, zombie mode and some sort of zombie escape(if I forgot some - feel free to add, I don’t have a really good memory XD)
I know there is one more mode which might be fun for players and not that hard for devs to implement as event - Warcraft mode (I used to play in this one - War3Source).
The idea of it is pretty simple:
- Same gameplay as in lone wolfs.(we might even try to play it with groups, but I think AI isn’t ready for this yet
)
- Every player might select race(like human/ork/dwarf)/profession(like ninja/monk/mage).
- Every race/profession starts with the first lvl and might select one of 3 passive/active abilities
Additional details: there might be tons of them starting from some base faster/stronger/higher and coming to some fun stuff like grenadier with an ability to have only grenades, but with first ability - to increase the amount of them up to 5/10/15 (5 per an ability lvl), second ability - to have a bigger explosion radius/damage and third - to throw them further(in case of enlisted we might use grenade laucher animation). - Every level gives plus 1 point to spend on abilities.
What means that atlast we could have a use for XP points from events! - At lvl 6/11/16 you can spend a point to unlock/power up race/profession ultimate.
- Cross game lvl progression.
Bonus to implement (maybe in the second event)
In-game shop (without cross progression), where you buy some items(e.g. for bonus hp/dmg/higher jump, headshot imune, etc.) using your score points(like dollars in CS).
Devs can add new/additional races/professions as part of event battle pass.
We don’t even need to worry about buttons for active abilities - we could use communication selection window to select an ability and
for ability activation (since that will be a lone wolf - we will have no need to command our squad).
