I’ve never played Warthunder, but after watching this video I thought… That maneuver is impossible in Enlisted, surely at less than half the plane will get anxious and destroy itself or lose control and kiss the ground xD
Planes in Enlisted feels so much heavier than in War Thunder. It’s much more harder to even make a loop in Enlisted.
Maybe possible in full control flight mode.
Playing in first person in WT is honestly fun, especially in customs with friends
The heavy is right.
Because the starting fuel can be controlled in the War Thunder, but the Enlisted’s fuel can only be full.
I think I heard the explanation a long time ago and it was that the enlisted planes are in War Thunder instructor mode, but i cant confirm that
In Enlisted planes are set with full fuel, whilst in wt you can set as low as few minutes
Fuel makes plane very heavier and that’s what makes difference
You can probably do that in Enlisted - but you’ll need to learn how to use the rudder - pretty sure most of us only use elevator and aileron - and play around a bit.
There is nothing fundamentally different in the flight models AFAIK - I think Enlisted uses the “realistic” mode rather than Arcade.
That video looks like its in Sim full control. looked cool!! just delayed his death a little longer (he may not have regained control)
Mouse aim mode comes with a 50% dampending to control surfaces in Warthunder (or something)…PLus the mouse aim mode has instructor that makes input corrections to stop you from doing this stuff
If you go full control mode and Joystick (no instructor), you can pull off this shit and be far more manueverable…but you get all the negatives that come with it (like flat spins etc)
Have a go in Enlisted, you can turn it off.
I played WT quite a bit several years ago, however I have not played in over a year. In fact, I had uninstalled it on my Steam so I could free up some memory on my computer. I reinstalled it a week ago just to go see what has changed, but it doesn’t excite me any longer so I will probably just uninstall it again.
Yeah, I never use the rudder and it actually feels awkward when I try.
How do you disable it?
Its under controls. Conrol mode or something.
Im at work so I cant check. But its default is mouse aim mode (so has instructor)
There is a hotkey you can bind to switch to full control/turn off instructor (But it doesnt work)
Enlisted lacks a huge amount of the control options warthunder has
Settings in WT are such a mess. I was so happy when I finally found normal zoom to bind on RBM.
I had some weird lock there or whatever by default.
yeah… there is a crazy amount of settings and controls. So many that most would take one look and say “fuck that”
…but it does make a lot of difference to your abilities. gives you an edge
At least there’s a search tab now, making everything a little bit easier.
Yep, sometimes I want to believe WT is just all about how well you have binded your buttons. Not about anything else.
Warthunder it shows a huge amount. But I find most games I want to be serious about, the first thing I do is spend 30 minutes on control mapping lol (matters everywhere)
Even Enlisted has benefits from dual mapping and stuff haha
Enlisteds not the old MMOS I grew up with 30 plus “standard” hot keys but hey (warthuder gives them a run for their money)
Close enough, generally there is a few more differences to be had, depending on your control setup in WT alone, you can gain much more control over your plane, its a little funny, how the people who do the best in realistic, use simulator controls to do so.
Its much hard to master, but once mastered, you become a demigod.
But also things like instructor mode, fuel and other minute things make the difference.
