History needs to be uncensored. It should be optional to see flags, insignias and other symbols when at the main menu. Its annoying that a little symbol or a flag can cause so much bother. Allow it to be optional. Those who dont wish to see them can choose no and those who wish to see can choose yes

soviet union did crimes against russians, jews, chechens, tatars, koreans, poles, finns, estonians, latvians, lithuanians, romanians, volga germans, greeks, hungarians, germans, yugoslavians, japanese, afghans and probably few others. those crimes included murder, rape and stealing amongst others. number of victims is in the millions, if not in tens of millions.
what about feelings of those people?

I never said I learned from it, but enlisted has historical squads, weapons, and vehicles, so it does represent WW2.

Because that’s primarily the only one that’s censored in WW2. If there are any other insignias or symbols, please tell us, no historical insignia should be censored.

The Waffen SS served many purposes - including allowing foreigners to serve as soldiers for Germany as they were not permitted in the Wehrmacht - hence the various “foreign legion” formations in the WSS.
Also it wasn’t the Waffen SS ran the camps - it was the Totenkopfverbande SS - “Deaths Head SS”.
And the 3rd branch - Allegmeine SS - the “General SS” ran general policing and enforcing racial laws.
Lastly of course the Gestapo were also run by Himmler, although not strictly part of the SS
if you’d just said NKVD were the “Soviet SS” (ie not including “waffen”) you’d have been significantly closer to a good comparison.

Id like to see german symbols. Also id like to see my opponent’s ones. It should be optional so why the fuss? We should have a choice to see them or not that way everyone is sweet.
