Vote Against the M8A1 Reload Nerf — Keep It at 5 Seconds

I am asking everyone here to vote against the proposed nerf to the M8A1’s reload time.

Please understand that this nerf is not only about the M8A1. What is truly being damaged is the trust of the veteran players who have loved this game and supported DarkFlow unconditionally for years.

Everyone who owns the M8A1, or who has ever paid attention to it, knows that this tank has always been a representative example of a “Pay 2 Lose” vehicle. Its reload time is already 1.7 times longer than the tech tree M8. Its HE shells are also significantly weaker than those of the M8. Half of its ammunition capacity is taken up by AP shells that have almost no anti-infantry capability and extremely poor anti-tank performance. On top of that, it carries 7 smoke shells that provide very little value while further reducing the number of HE shells available.

And now, according to the balance update proposed by Euthymia07, it is going to receive another 1.7-second reload time increase.

Friends, fellow players, nobody bought this little tank because it was overpowered. Nobody purchased it because it could dominate battles.

When Enlisted first came to Steam, many players knew that the pre-order packs were essentially Pay-to-Lose purchases, yet they still bought them. Why?

Because we loved this game.

We never demanded Pay-to-Win content. We only hoped that every dollar we spent could become support for the future development of this game.

I personally spent real money buying skins and decals for my M8A1. Every time I bring this tank into a US BR II battle, I never expect to achieve a high kill count. I simply want every teammate who sees it to know that I support this game. That is something I am proud of.

But what happened?

When the M8 needed balancing, DarkFlow simply applied a random nerf number to the M8A1 without properly considering the players who purchased it despite knowing it was a Pay-to-Lose vehicle.

DarkFlow is not just nerfing the M8A1.

You are damaging the trust of the players who loved this game and supported it.

I have a friend who has spent even more money on this game than I have. He purchased almost everything that could be bought. Before the Gold Weapon shop rotation ended, he even bought every Gold Weapon up to the maximum limit.

But today, he has not played this game for a very long time.

We only occasionally talk about it, and his final opinion about Enlisted was:“We gave so much support to DarkFlow, but they simply do not care about us.”

And because of that, this game lost another player who had consistently paid money to support its servers and future updates.

This game is already close to becoming a dead game. New players in low BR are becoming rarer and rarer. Every BR is filled with F2P players using bolt-action rifles from the tech tree, AA guns, and AT guns, hiding deep inside grey zones, ruining other players’ experience while spending 0 gold and almost no Silver.

Then they come to the forums asking for nerfs to anything that can kill them. If they are killed by a Gold Weapon, they immediately call it “P2W”, regardless of whether those weapons are actually strong or not.

Please pay more attention to your paying customers, DarkFlow.

In all the games I have played, I have never seen a situation where the majority of paid content is actually Pay-to-Lose.

If this continues, don’t expect to bring us better updates in the future. You may eventually struggle just to afford server costs.

Please stop hurting the players who support this game financially.

What about the Achilles, although I used it yesterday and really didn’t notice much difference… I also have M8a1.

Just feel that changes like this should be communicated to player base.

How about we nerf vehicles for the sake of balance and not because they’re getting changed in War Thunder, cause why is the Ha-Go getting nerfed
